"Here! " I hear the squeal through my head phone. I look up at the huge campus we were entering. My stomach flipping and churning, even though I visited the campus as much as I could, and also studied the maps to my courses, this is the time were I have to actually go to stay here for 4 years.  Not to mention I did not even meet my roommate yet, even though I set up my side of the room a week before.I picked up my backpack and slung it over my shoulder as I exited the car waving goodbye to my almost sobbing mother. I took a deep breath as the fresh air filled my lungs I felt calmer now. I swooped my red hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ear and slowly started walking the campus looking at all the people. You can defiantly tell which ones are having their first year, maybe I could spot them out since their parents or mostly their mom were crying telling them to be safe and all

the lectures that come with sort of living on your own. I plopped my earbud back in and the beautiful voices of the 1975 filled my ears. All their songs soothed me, and I needed something to calm me down. I walked up the the complex of my dorms. I walked up three flights of stairs to my room d105 . I pull out my key from my pocket and turn the key , slowly open the door.

What? The room is completely pink. No. "Hi!" I squeaky voice says , I turn and look at the blonde with perfectly curled hair and blue eyes and the whitest teeth that might blind me. "Hi.." I say softly placing my bag on the bed. "I'm Sophia, and you are?" she asks siting down on the bed crossing her legs and tilting her head but still having the biggest smile. "I'm Brittany, I'm guessing you're roommate." I speak with a sarcastic tone. She nods her head and then plays with the end of her hands with her fingers. I noticed a bunch of society signs on her wall, makes sense. "So you're in a sorority..?" I say slowly trying to make this less awkward and have her stare me down as much. "Yeah! I'm in alpha beta! I just joined but all of the girls are so much fun! Are you in one?" She speaks with way to much excitement and slight hope to try to find something we both share. I laugh a bit of the

thought of me in a sorority, "Nah, sororities don't seem like my type of scene. They probably are all really nice.. Don't get me wrong. I just hate partying." I say trying to make me seem like I don't hate everything. "Oh... well there's a opening type party tonight , I would invite you but if you don't like it then you don't have to go." Sophia says kindly.

Maybe I should go, I need to meet people here, and maybe someone like me is going to be dragged there. Plus I don't even need to drink or anything. "I'll go why not!" I shoot out, but slowly starting to regret the words after. "Really?! You will! That's amazing! Do you need to borrow a dress! Oh, can I curl your hair!" She sounds like a little kid on Christmas. What dresses did I even bring? Did I even pack a dress? Oh, I did. It's a urban outfitters one with gold detailing and an open back. "I have a dress , thanks though. And if you really want too..." I say the last part softly already knowing she wants too.

Twenty minutes later and I have about a hundred clips in my hair and her telling me how beautiful my hair is and hot tools so close to my head that I cringe ever time one gets close. She's not even done with my bottom section of my hair, this is taking way to long. I should have never agreed to this.
