A Bit Of Happiness

Thalia POV: We sat there waiting. For who knows how long. When Apollo finally came out. Everyone was asleep. It was dawn, still quite dark. I felt someone shake me. " Thalia. You and the others can see Annabeth now. Don't worry, she's ok. She's just in a deep sleep. She needs her rest, so please try your best not to wake her." I nodded. "Thank you so much Apollo." He glimmered, then her was gone. I walked over to Percy and tapped him. "Percy, you can go see Annabeth now." He sat up quicker than you can say lightning. He looked at me, " Is she ok?!" I smiled and nodded. " Yeah, she's just asleep. Apollo said not to wake her. " He smiled and stood up. " Thanks Thals." I patted him on the back. " No problem Perce." He looked at me, "Don't you want to see her?" I looked inside the cabin at Annabeth. She looked better than the last time we all saw her. "Nah, it's Ok. I'll see her later. You can go." He ran to the door. "Ok." I laid down on the grass, and went back to sleep.

Percy POV: I walked over to Annabeth and sat next to her. I looked at her. The cuts and bruises were all healed. She wasn't pale. She looked perfectly healthy. She was breathing. I was relieved. I brushed a piece of her golden hair away from her face. " I'm so glad your ok..." I kissed her head. Her eyelids fluttered open and she sat up gasping. I put my hand on her back. " Shh... It's ok. Everything's ok..." She looked at me tears in her eyes. " P-Percy!" She hugged me. I hugged her back. She buried her head in my shoulder. "I had a terrible nightmare... I-I was dead...." I kissed her. " You're ok now. You don't need to worry. I promise that I'll protect you. I won't ever let Luke lay a finger on you again." She looked at me and smiled. "Thanks Seaweed Brain." She hugged me. "I love you." I hugged her. "I love you too Wise Girl." We didn't let go of each other.

Hazel POV: I woke up and looked around. Annabeth! I thought. Percy was gone. Leo, Nico, and Clarisse were awake. I woke up the others. I pointed to Percy's cabin. "What are you guys waiting for! We need to check up on Annabeth!" We all stood up and walked to the cabin. I knocked quietly. No answer. I opened the door quietly. I looked over to Annabeth's bed and laughed. " Look!" I giggled. Percy and Annabeth were sound asleep, cuddling each other. I took a picture. We all walked in. Frank started to record. "Oh man! Again you two!" Percy opened his eyes and yawned. " What..." Leo laughed. "You two slept with each other again!" Percy blushed and looked over at Annabeth and smiled. " Yeah? So what? It's not like you and Calypso haven't." Frank turned the camera to a surprised Leo and blushing Calypso. Percy laughed. Frank turned the camera back to the couple. Annabeth sat up. " What's going on..." Percy put his arm around her and kissed her on the cheek. "Looks like my princess is finally awake from her slumber." Piper squealed. Annabeth smiled. "Good Morning everyone." Frank turned off the camera. "You all have to see this video!" We all gathered around Annabeth and Percy and watched the video. It was the first time we were all together and we didn't have to worry about any problems. Boy were we wrong. Little did we know what Luke was planning for us.

Annabeth POV: It felt so unreal. There was no way that I just died. By.... I can't seem to remember. The only thing I remember is Percy and the others running to me, and just falling into darkness... I squeezed Percy's hand. "Percy..." He looked at me. "Yes, what's wrong?" I looked at the ground. "What happened to me.... How did I...." Percy held my hand tighter. "It's ok. You don't need to worry about it..." I looked at my dagger. " Luke... Where is he?" Percy shuddered. "He left I think...." I looked at the entrance to camp. "Oh..." I wondered why he would leave without telling me.. Didn't he just arrive? " Wise Girl? You doing ok?" I snapped out of my train of thought. I smiled. "Yeah, I'm ok. Thanks Seaweed Brain." We arrived at the mess hall. The rest of the seven called us over. "HEY LOVEBIRDS! YOU JOINING OR NOT?" Percy and I laughed. "Yeah, Yeah we're coming." Percy pulled me along. We both sat down and enjoyed a little feast. "To Annabeth!!!" They all said. I smiled and blushed. " For me! Aww, thanks, but you don't have to do this for me!" I giggled. Percy kissed me. "You're a real fighter Wise Girl. We all love you!" Percy raised his glass of Diet Coke. "CHEERS TO ANNABETH!" I took a glass of nectar. " To me!" I cheered. We all had a feast dedicated to me surviving whatever happened to me! It was one of the funnest things I have done in Camp Half-Blood. Full of festivity and delight. I wish it could be like that forever.
