WARNING: Hwasa kills people.

There may be blood and gore.

This is an AU fanfic.

I love MAMAMOO.

Proceed with caution...

"You okay, Hwasa?" My best friend asked, using the codename and nickname I respond to. I never liked using my real name, out of privacy reasons.

Solar was the same. Well, you had to if you were a part of murdering people for a living. I didn't want her to be in it as well, but she needed money as bad as I did, and we went to the criminal mastermind, also known as our boss, Moonbyul.

We all use code/nicknames. I only know Solar's true name, and she only knew mine. I have no other friends, due to me not wanting to lie to them and hide more. My parents were hard enough to hide my double life from, telling them I worked nightshifts at some factory that doesn't even exist. They looked up the name, and I had to lie saying it was exclusive and I knew it from Solar, who knew about it from another friend.

Neither of us had other friends.

It was just us. And that's how we liked it.

I waved towards my friend, who was driving towards our next target. She never did the killing, she just planned, provided transportation, etc. She was more of a behind-the-scenes type of person. I was the one who executed the plan and took action. I was slightly smaller than her (not such a big height difference), but I was light on my feet, flexible, and quick. I got things done, no torturing necessary. I just wanted my money.

Except for the rare occasion when I would purposely knock over things to scare the person if I knew them, like in high school. I was never popular in high school.

"I'm fine," I assured her, holding my head. "Just have a headache."

Solar reached into the glove compartment and pulled out pills and a pack of gum. "Take some pills and chew a stick of gum."

"Why gum?" I questioned, opening the pill bottle.

"Chewing gum gets rid of headaches. I have no time to explain, we're already here."

Solar turned her lights off and she cruised in front of the house that was in the GPS. We quietly watched as some guy was in the kitchen putting things away. I noticed him as a guy that teased me in high school. A smirk spread across my face as I popped a stick of gum in my mouth.

"Wait until he's asleep?" Solar asked.

"Nah. I think he lives alone. Drive around back."

Solar did as she was told and I quietly got out the car with my knife. Guns were too loud and would cause attention. Just a knife to the neck or the gut would get the job done.

"Remember the plan?" Solar whispered out the window.

"Of course. But I may stray away just a tad bit."

Solar scowled at me. "Don't tell me he's a 'high school buddy'! Hwasa, you've got to stop playing around or we'll get caught!"

But I merely just slipped on my gloves and my mask and sneaked up to the house. One of the windows were open since it was a hot summer day, and I slowly raised my head to peek inside. The guy was walking up the stairs, newspaper in hand, humming to himself. Perfect.

I crawled on the windowsill and carefully slipped inside the house. Then I started popping my gum, making him stop whatever he was doing upstairs.

"What was that?" I heard him mumbled to himself.
