We arrived to the hideout twenty minutes later than Solar originally planned. She nagged the while way there, saying I should be more careful because of the gunshot, and we might get in trouble for being late. Sometimes I wonder how we were even friends in the first place.

"...If we're in trouble, it's your fault," Solar said as I got she body bag from the back of the car.

"Would you shut up?" I hissed and Solar glared at me before shutting up.

The hideout was an abandoned factory that Moonbyul found in the country. She had snuck inside and made the place fit for her and her goonies to live in. According to her, getting her own house was too dangerous because of the legal documents and privacy. So, legally, she was homeless.

Solar knocked on the door and somebody cracked it. We saw a small, beady eye look us up and down. Then the door opened wider so we could slide in.

We entered a pitch black room and we stood there until the goon turned the flashlight on. This part was never used so the place would still look abandoned to passersby.

"I've got to stay here for someone else," the guy said. Then he pointed the flashlight ahead of us so we could walk to the door.

But we've done this so many times we could find our way to Moonbyul in the darkness. We went to the door, Solar in front of me, and went through it.

The flashlight was turned off, and we ran into a hallway behind the door, which was illuminated by the red light. We went left all the way down then turned to the right, where a room was.

The old machines that used to occupy the room was cleared out, and Moonbyul's things were there. Multiple couches were against the walls, with a throne that her Theft Unit got for her in the middle against the wall. Entertainment was available as well. There was a flatscreen attached to the wall, where a few people pulled up chairs to watch whatever was on, along with pool tables, an indoor jacuzzi in the ground, and a poker table. In one corner sat soda and snack machines for our convince.

Sitting on the throne was the one and only Moonbyul. She looked so goddess-like whenever she sat there, observing everybody with her two dogs, Jae and Joon, which mean "wealthy" and "handsome" respectively, on either side of her. The dogs would protect her from everybody, just about. They only have to put up with the other people who live here.

"Moonbyul unnie," Solar greeted as we bowed. Even though she was older than Moonbyul, along with a few other people, we were all required to call her either "unnie" or "noona"

Moonbyul smiled a bit at us and motioned for us to come to her. She usually never smiles at anyone, but we're different.

"My favorite children," she said as we approached her. "How was it?"

We were her favorite because we always got the job done. Everybody else failed at least twice, and had to endure a harsh scolding from Moonbyul. Then she would send Solar and I to finish the job.

And she calls everybody her children, despite some older than her. We all were trained by her in different units before we did her dirty work. There was the Theft unit, the Kill unit, the Torture unit, the Secrecy unit, and the Intelligence unit (where Solar was). She was the criminal mastermind. At a young age, she was adopted by criminals after her parents died in a car accident. It wasn't a "legal" adoption, because she was kidnapped. And that's how she knows everything she knows today.

And after doing all this, she was never caught or exposed because she would personally kill the betrayer. Many looked up to her, except Solar and I. We did it for the money, so we could get by. But we did respect her.

"We would've been here sooner," Solar answered. Then she sent me a glare.

I rolled my eyes at her then laid the body down at Moonbyul's feet.

Moonbyul smirked at us as I unzipped the bag to show Park's face. "You two are perfect. Practice your throat a bit more, Hwasa. Did you do it to quickly?"

"I'm sorry, I had did it in front of him."

She nodded then zipped the bag back up. She reached in her pocket and took out two rolls of cash and handed one to each of us.

"Good job, children. I'll let you know if I have another target. And why don't you two live here with Unnie?" Moonbyul asked.

Solar shrugged. "Our parents would be worried if we suddenly dropped off the face of the earth."

"If they die, you're living here."

"By natural causes, of course. See you later, Unnie."

We bowed before leaving. Or, trying to. The guy who let us in dragged some guy in the room, slamming the door shut. That meant nobody comes in or goes out. Including Solar and I.

The goon threw the guy in front of Queen Moonbyul (our secret name for her sometimes) who scowled down at him. He came up empty-handed. Not a good sign.

"Where is he?" Moonbyul asked.

"I--I--he got away! I mean, I-I was about to get him, a-and he ran!" The guy nervously explained. You can visibly see him trembling.

Moonbyul was a scary person when she didn't get her way.

"When did he go?!" She angrily asked.

"Er--er, towards the next town! To a friend's house! I-I can go get him--"

"No, don't bother."

Moonbyul reached behind Joon and pulled out a gun. She lazily waved it around until a girl came up and took the gun from her.

"Execute him," Moonbyul sighed.

The girl nodded and pushed the guy into another room, while he begged for forgiveness. He heard a shot and he fell silence.

"Kill unit, clean up this mess," Moonbyul ordered.

I was about to go along with the rest of the unit, but Moonbyul grabbed my arm.

She looked me in the eye as she spoke. "Go get the info from his car, and finish the job."

"Yes, Unnie."

"I'll give you a higher pay. I'm counting on you two."

I nodded and she released my arm. I walked towards Solar and looped my arm with hers.

"We're completing the job, aren't we?" Solar questioned.

"Yep. Whether we like it or not. Gives us more money."

"Okay. No sleeping for us tonight."

"Already used to it."
