Solar was shredding the information from last night's victims when I woke up the next morning. Her hair was in a loose bun, and she looked like she barely got any sleep.

"You need sleep," I pointed out, walking into the kitchen.

"Don't we all? Coffee's on the counter," Solar said, not looking up.

This has become a normal routine for us. We hardly ever talk about the victims. Even though we're in our own house. Couldn't risk getting caught.

After grabbing my drink, I went to check the mail. Bill, bill, junk mail, bill, coupons. Nothing from Moonbyul. She was a surprising woman, and you wouldn't know what she'd do next. You never know when she has her next victim ready.

"Anything from Moonbyul?" Solar asked, sipping her own coffee.

"Aniyo. Just a bunch of bills and junk." I tossed the mail on the coffee table before plopping down on the couch.

"Got any plans today?" I asked my best friend.

"Sleep! And can you go get some groceries? We're running low on food."

"What? Why do I have to?"

"Because you've slept while I haven't got a wink of it!"

"Why?" I questioned.

Solar looked away from me. "You know why."

Oh, right. Ever since we've started murdering, Solar's had nightmares. Either of the dead coming back to get her, the police capturing her, or her parents finding out of what she's been truly doing.

Our families weren't rich. They were the complete opposite of it. They were the epitome of poor. Both work hard just to get by each month. But thanks to our new lifestyle, they didn't have to suffer anymore. Solar and I both pay their rents and give them extra money each month. The very first time, they wouldn't accept it, saying that they would be a bother and we needed the money. But we assured them that we were fine and that we lived with each other, so it would be fine.

I nodded to myself. "Well, what do I get?" I asked.

Solar stood and retrieved a piece of paper from the kitchen. "Everything we need is up here. I even got the brand name written down. Just hurry up, buy the stuff, and come back. And no large bills. Okay?"

I nodded, then went to shower, change, and get ready to leave. Solar was asleep on the couch, snoring loudly. I shook my head, walked out the house, and locked the door.

When I got to the store, I kept Solar's rules in mind while I shopped. I've never done this before, by myself. Usually Solar goes, or we both go. But as long as I listen to her, I should be fine.

"Find everything okay?" The cashier said as I approached her. She sounded sad, and I looked up to see her.

Jung Whee-In, a girl from my high school who was just as popular as the Park guy I murdered last night. They were dating, and were the school's most popular couple. The difference was...she was nice to me.

"Wheein?" I questioned.

She looked up from ringing my things up with red eyes. "Hyejin? Oh my gosh, it's been so long!"

She started smiling as she continued ringing up my things. "How are you?" She asked

"I'm fine. Getting by fine. You?"

"Same. Well...not really."

Wheein looked down and but her bottom lip. When she looked back up, she said, "My boyfriend was found missing last night."
