Michael was new to the small town but, had somehow already gained a reputation. Because of Michael's dyed hair and tattoos, the town, which seemed to be more populated with judgmental middle aged parents than anything, pinned him to be a bad boy. Overprotective parents warned their daughters to stay away, they gave Michael dirty looks as he passed them on the street. Michael knew that he had done nothing wrong, he had always tried to be the best person he could be throughout his life.
The sad part about this story is that Michael didn't care to fix his reputation. Matter of fact, Michael didn't really care much about anything anymore. Once his mom died, his world flipped upside down. He didn't care about this town, he didn't care about his dad, and as odd as it was, for the first time in his seventeen years of living, Michael didn't care about his reputation.
