I awoke to the sound of waves gently crashing against the side of the boat. I looked at the alarm clock and noticed it was already 10:30, this meant I could guarntee my family had already been to breakfast and probably done some other activity without me. I suddeny remembered Chelsea was sleeping over, She was still asleep and I thought it would be a good idea to wake her up. "Chelsea, Chelsea," I whispered, gently shaking her awake.
"What time is it," she murmered under her breath.
"Just after ten-thirty," I replied quietly. "C'mon let's go get some breakfast." I said to Chelsea.
I climbed out of bed and walked into the kitchen.
"Good Morning" my Mum said cheerfully
"Ugh" I groaned
I picked out an outfit and got dressed, dawdling like always. I straightened my hair and Chelsea put a small braid in the front. We walked down to the breakfast buffet to find both our families chatting and finishing up their meal. "Wait for us!" we yelled, scrambling to fill our plates. We both took a seat and once everyone was seated, we discussed what we wanted to do that day. After numerous arguments, we decided that we would spend the trying out all the awesome water slides at the pool. Emily, Chelsea and I couldn't be happier!
Once we decided what we were going to do, It was already 11:00. We were going to get our swimsuits and meet at the entrance to the pool at 12:00. I walked back to my room and by the time I was finished getting ready I only had 3 minutes to walk to the other side of the boat. Of course by the time I arrived I was the last one there.
"Here comes the fashionably late princess!" My dad said.
I shot him the nastiest possible look.
We got inside and my face lit up with the happiness that comes with seeing the most kick-butt water slides ever! My Uncle explained how everyone could do what they wanted and that we would meet back at the entrance at 5:00.
Chelsea, Emily and I started running towards the tripe loop, upside down waterslide that even goes off the ship for part of the ride! After riding it 3 times, we decided to try something else.
Next, we went on the river run, then just swam around, and the next time we looked at the clock it was 4:55.
"We better get going" I mentioned to Chelsea and Emily
"Ya" they both agreed
We walked toward the door and my family was alreay there. "Okay, let's get going" my Dad said to everyone. Once we arrived back and the room, we all started getting ready for dinner. My Mom had made resevations at one of the restraunts for 6:30.
I took a shower and curled my hair to perfection. I decided I was going to wear the Summer dress I bought at Aritzia just before the trip. I knocked on CHelsea
