Nathaniel's POV
Jewel's been in a coma for 3 weeks now. She was put under a machine that helps her breathe. Its the last one avalible and its old. Real old. I sing her songs everyday. Her favorite songs. Like Death of a Bachelor, Car Radio, Pity Party, and Write Sins Not Tragedies. Those are her favorites. She listens to them almost everyday so that's why I sing them to her. I don't have the best voice but Its good enough. The nurses came in to do some checkups, like monitor her pulse and breathing. As I was holding her hand, something horrible happened. The old machine.... Broke. Jewel stopped breathing. Her heart started to fail. As I called the doctors I'm pretty sure I started crying too because I couldn't breathe. I don't know what I would do if Jewel died. I would break. They did everything they can but.... It was too late.. Jewel started shaking. Then, just then..... She died. Olive arrived. She saw the doctors covering Jewel with a sheet and me sobbing my eyes out. Olive fell to the ground crying. Her sister.... My girlfriend.... She was gone... I need to do somthing. I need to save her. My Jewel.
