Inside the window of a three story apartment on the first floor, you see a teenage girl. She is laying, deep asleep on her bed until...
"Beep beep beep beep"
She lets out a heavy sigh, knowing what day it was and what she had to do. It was morning. She had to wake up. And what was special about that morning? Well, it was her first day of marching band and she had to be at her school's parking lot 20 minutes early to,of course, set up a spot to lay her belongings and set up her clarinet before getting a bad impression by being late.
It was bad enough that she got her music late and had to rush to get it down solid in what time she had left in July and being a freshman under such pressure isn't easy!!!
She grabs her phone, gets out of bed, and starts making herself some pancakes. While they cook, she pours a glass of water and takes her allergy pill, because her doctor prescribed one to her, and she checks her phone to see if she had any new notifications, which she always had mostly from her games. The pancakes, now ready, are eaten and then she heads to her room to set down her phone and make her bed.
"Well, this is it. Today is my first day of marching...in the heat...for four hours straight...",the girl says to herself, "I guess it shouldn't be too bad...hopefully". She had a sickening feeling in her stomach and to make it worse, it was that time of month for her , but she didn't have time to worry about it so she moved on and finished getting ready. Since the girls in marching band had to keep their hair up, she had to put hers up but she didn't want to look plain. Instead, she braided a small section of her hair and put it in a high pony tail along with the rest of it. She was debating to herself on whether she could wear a little accessory in her hair but then she remembered the rules and just left it.
She was ready;her clarinet, music, water jug,and purse with her. Her mom got her keys and they both walked to the car. They drove.
