"What was that again?" the other man cocked his head on the other side. "The Imaginitive? The Negative? And the Omega?" His voice was cold. The object finally reached King's mind. The Omeganitive. It had always been the Omeganitive. "I assume that you already know what I was saying."
Those men were frightening enough to the twins who were watching them. With those men's black coats, black hats, black gloves, black shades and guns on their belts, they almost looked like a spy. Empress nudged Cypress on the ribs to indicate to leave the bookstore soon. Cypress glared at her. Cypress was the curious girl, she would do everything just to see what she wants. Even though it would mean to take a life. It was her choice to be always followed, Empress could not do something but just to stay with her sister. They were standing, unable to move themselves due to what was happening. But somehow, they moved backward slowly and hid to the first bookshelf where they can see them. There was no point of leaving the bookstore because those men and the Fairleighs were in the counter side where the door was. They might go to the worse place than where they were in the first place.
"The Omeganitive." said King in his lowest voice.
Precious gasped. "No. You won't take it again!" she stopped, facing King. "Don't let them have it!" She hissed at him.
"Of course, you will give it to us." said the other man, with a smugged voice. "Can't you see it? That Book just gave you all the bad luck."
"Not on this time. That Book is not just Negative as you said. It gave us this bookstore, we cannot have when we were young."
The man with a black closed umbrella walked around that made the twins to hide to the last bookshelf. "Is this what we call a good luck?" he waved his hands around. He pointed his umbrella on the most imporatant bookshelf to King, where his books were placed. He pushed the umbrella forward and slowly dropped it all down to the floor. King sprinted to pick it all up but the man stopped him, facing his shoe to King's face. "When we were young, all I can remember is, you made me live in the living hell. You and your mother. And I think it's a payback time." He laughed, evily. "Where is it? The Omeganitive?"
King breathed in deeply. "I won't let you have it."
"What were you saying? I can't hear it."
"I said that I won't let you have it!" he shouted.
The man covered his ears. His shoe were still in front of King's face, while King was crawling to pick those books he had written. "Oh, bad. Okay, dudes. You all know what to do. Find it. If you cant, check the back and the storage. If still can't, one thing, destroy this store, so we can destroy this man's heart if he won't tell where it is."
Precious was about to help King but the man stopped her. "King!" she called when she saw the man put his shoe on King's temple to let his head bow and tell him where the book was. "Uh, no. Preciousa. Precious, Precious, Precious, your name symbolized yourself, of course. After that compliment I would like you to tell it to me. Where is it?"
"I don't know." was all she said. "Why do need it so much, Celfie?"
"Don't you dare to call me that, I'm no Celfie to you." though his name was Celfredo, there was a shared history between him and the Fairleighs.
"Please, we can talk about this. But not like this. You're destroying some of our books! Please, Celfredo?" she begged as much as she can. There was no way to get his pity now.
"No. That's the point. To destroy you, like how you destroy me." He must got tired, so that, he put his foot down back again. King raised his head, looking at Celfredo straightly.
"We didn't destroy you. You did that to yourself."
"No. Why on earth would I do that? It's always you." he paused for a second. Also walked around to help his minions to find the book. "Where is it?"
"I won't tell it. It's far away from us."
Celfredo laughed. "You can't fool me. You were proving me that I was wrong about the negativity it brings, and now, you're telling me it's far away?" He walked close to them again. Now, on Precious's side. He touched Precious's neck with his fingertip. "I can have you, by the way, if King won't tell it." he smirked.
"No way." she said, breathless.
"Yes. There is always a way." he looked at his minions to see if they were still searching. At that time, most of the books were dropped on the floor except from the back where the twins were hiding.
"But why?" she whispered.
"I want it so badly because--" he was stopped when his minion waved a hand to him. Celfredo released her and walked toward him. The man gave him the piece of paper where a woman was sketched. The woman was definitely familiar to him. It was Agatha.
His eyes widened, he quickly grabbed it and faced it to Precious and King. "This is why."
