I had woken from my nap and saw I was on a couch with bandages over my body. I remembered what happened. I lost it. Tears were brought to my eyes. I let them roll down. I then remembered before my father had disappeared he always sung me a song. It was about those who go out of these walls and save lives....he was one of the many. But never made it back after one expedition. They marked him as 'lost'....I know he's dead, but... it still hurt....I can still remember his voice....it was so soothing...I just began to sing along to the song inside my head.
