Chapter 1 Plane tickets✈

Mariahs POV.

"Mariah come down stairs!" My mom yells up to my room.

I finishing straightening my hair and putting on my white laced vans and make my way down the stairs.

"Yes ma?" I ask.

"Here. Open it." She says with a small grin on her face as she hands me an envelope.

I take the envelope and tear open the top. I look up at my mom then back at the opening. I slowly pull out two slips of paper.

"Mom...is this.." I start to say as she cuts me off.

"Your going to Florida!" She screams smiling wide.

"Omg really! Yessss!!! ...wait why is there two?" I ask.

Then Aaliyah my cousin who is like my sister walks in with a pair of black high waisted shorts on and a Green day shirt. Her hairs straighten and her smiles wide, "Prima! We are going to Florida!" She screams.

"OMG YAY!" I scream grabbing her hands and then hugging her. We both laugh then turn back to my mom.

"You leave tonight." She says grabbing me and Aaliyah hugging us.

"Thank you your the Best." Me and aaliyah say into her shoulder in unison.

8 hours later (6:00 pm)

Still Mariahs POV.

"Thank you again for this." I say as I hug her and and my dad at once."I'll see you august 30th, I love you. Call you when we land." I say as me and Aaliyah walk to our gate to head into pur plane.

When we get on we take our seats. I sat next to the window, Aaliyah next to me and a really cute old lady next to Aaliyah.

"I can't believe we are actually going to live with Auntie Ashley and Cara for 2 and a half months." Aaliyah says looking down at her ticket.

"Me either! Like I'm so happy to get away with my favorite person and just relax!" I say wrapping my arm around her neck.

Its a 3 hour flight and its about an hour in when I decide to take a power nap. Aaliyah already passed out next to me I stick in headphones, go onto shawn mendes's album on my phone, press shuffle and drift off into a deep sleep.

When we land its about 9:30pm. I get awoken by Aaliyah agressivly poking my face. "Maarrriiiiaaahhhh wake up we are here!" She whisper screams in my ear.

"Ughhh" I gargle as I stretch.

"Auntie should be waiting right outside the main entrance." She says as we grab our bags out of the overhead luggage department.

"I can't even believe this. Its sereal." I say as we start to walk down the aisle of the plane.

"Me either." She simply reply back.

When we get outside I hear a familiar voice. "BOO! LIYAH!" our nicknames since baby's.

"AUNTIE!" we yell in unison running up and hugging her and her fiancé Cara.

"I've missed you guys so much." I say letting go.

"Us too guys! We've missed you tons!" Cara replys.

"Let's get going its a half hour drive and I'm sure u guys are tired from the plane ride." Auntie ashly said. We just nod and get in the car.

As soon as I get buckled I tap aaliyah on the shoulder. "Zach and Nick time?" I ask.

She smiles wide and nods.

I click on my phone and tap on the YouTube app. I click the search bar and type in BruhItsZach.

Zach Clayton my god man. He's so funny and hyper and cute. His videos literally makes me smile every time I'm down.

I scroll and press on one of his older videos. We binge watch his videos with nick bean for aaliyah and watch some of Zach's music.lys till we arrive at my aunts house.

I shove my phone in my back pocket and open the car door.

"We are here laddiiieess!" Cara says as she opens the front door.

They lead us up to they're spare room where there's a bunk bed and TV.

"Let's crash for the night okay guys? Tomorrow you guys can go out and explore the neighborhood. Some new people moved in two houses down so maybe u will meet them. Be safe tho we will be home from work at 6pm. Love you guys goodnight. " Auntie ashly said.

"Okay will do! Love you guys too." Aaliyah and I said in unison.

I still can't believe we are here. I can't wait to wake up see the palm trees, the warm breeze , and to explore the neighbor hood.
