Beth, Colin, Talo and Malo all run toward their parents who disperse from the wagon. The mothers whimper with joy as they embrace their babies, and Uli introduces Colin's sister to everyone. Link dismounts Epona with a sigh, closing his eyes momentarily. He truly wishes you could have tagged along, and he was worried about you. Even though you hold your ground with your consistent overcapacity of chores, Link still can't help but worry. What if one of the goats hurt you? What if you tear a muscle with too much heavy lifting? ...What if–
"You alright, bud?" Hanch, Sera's husband, asks. Link grins assuringly and nods his head.
"Nice to see you again, Link."
Link turn around and sees the local shaman. Renado.
"Did you have a safe trip?" Renado asks, and Link nods, looking down.
"Is something the matter?" Renado asks. Link sighs and looks back at the visiting villagers.
"I'm just tired from the trip." Link says, that being a white lie. Renado pauses before nodding his head. "How has everyone been?"
Link and Renado catch up and discuss Malo's successful market in Castle Town, and how that has been benefiting Kakariko Village immensely. The Gorons have been soaking so much in the hot spring above the hotel that Renado is tempted to charge them. Link can't help but laugh at the consideration.
Luda approaches the pair of en slowly and grins shyly, bowing before him. "Welcome back, Link." she says above a whisper.
Link turns to her and smiles politely. "Do you need any help, Luda?" Link asks. Luda peers back up at Link and nods her head delicately.
"I hope you don't mind, but Barnes needs help moving some stock into his bomb shop."
Link shouldn't have to worry about you now of all times. He's left you alone for months. It's silly for these emotions to surface in this present. Link just can't help but latch onto this feeling that something is wrong. Later into the evening, Link is treated to soaking up in the hot spring above the hotel. "It's on the house," Renado insists.
Link is accompanied by two gorons, who occasionally moan and sigh out compliments to the intense quality of the hot spring.
"We have a spring back at home." Link says, tilting his head up toward the sky, his eyes fixated on the bright moon. "I returned a couple days ago, and a friend of mine gave me the most amazing massage." Link can't help but smile and close his eyes, imagining your slow, intimate fingers dipping into his muscular build.
"Is this friend a lover of yours?" The adult goron asks, and Link gasps, chuckling with a shake of his head.
"Of course not. Why do you say that?" Link asks. The goron goofily smiles.
"The smile on your face says it all." he insists, causing Link to blush and look down at the steaming water. He gazes at the reflection of the moon, the moon's light illuminating the veins in the water.
"I'm worried about her." Link finally admits. "She's all alone at the village right now. I've been worried all day."
"That's normal, brother." the goron assures.
The younger goron pipes in. "You can see her tomorrow, can't you?"
Link grins and nods his head. "You're right." he says to the pair.
The following morning, as soon as the sun begins to rise, Link is already awake and anxious to return home. The young man usually doesn't wake up early, which also adds onto his worries. Something must be terribly wrong, and that's why he needs to return to Ordon Village.
