Whenever a marauder fell asleep in the common room the others took it as a challenge to stack as many objects on that person without them waking up.
In the lead is James Potter, who stacked the following items on to an unsuspecting Remus Lupin:
-assorted books
-a broomstick
-several sofa cushions
-3 goblets
-a wizard chess board
-a log from the fire
-5 boxes of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans
-an overly willing Sirius Black
These things remained on top of Remus for an hour, until he woke up, and grumbled something along the lines of "next time you fall asleep I'm going to kill you all".
