- Sirius immediately makes friends with whomever he gets sat next to, resulting in the teacher moving him towards their desk, in which he tries to make friends with the teacher as well
- Remus sobers after being moved, but will quietly share notes with his new desk mate
- James will sometimes make friends, but mostly he just shouts across the room at Sirius, who laughs and throws things at him from beside the teachers desk
- Peter will stay quiet, upset and annoyed that he's been separated from his friends
- Bonus James : McGonagall will put him next to Lily in hopes of shutting him up ; instead they just practice charms in her class and argue over magical ethics.
