"Ok, wow."

I walk forward in the shower to rinse off the soap that I accidentally got in my eye.

"That's better." A sigh leaves my lips and I hear knocking at the door.

Connor only been gone for two days.

I quickly turn the water off and wrap a towel around my body tightly incase it is him.

I was about to greet Connor, only thing is, it's not Connor but Shawn.

He gives me a welcoming smile and I instantly feel bad from yesterday for yelling at him.

"Hello Shawn."

"Hello May."

He lowers his gaze and blushes a little and I almost forgot I'm in a towel. I step to the side to let him in, and he does so.

"I'll be right back, have a seat." I cringe at my filthy, stained couch and wish Connor would buy a new one soon.

Shawn nods and sits down, seeming unfazed by the multiple stains and I walk out, not wanting to be embarrassed anymore.

I slip some worn out shorts and the same shirt I wore yesterday.

I need more clothes. Oh wait, I forgot, I don't deserve new clothes.

Walking back in, I catch Shawn staring at a hole in the wall caused by Connor when I spilled his food on the floor. It wasn't my fault I could barely walk!

"So, what are you doing here?" I ask nicely.

Shawn continues to stare at the hole with his face scrunched up and I bite my lips out of nervousness.

"Why is there a hole in the wall?" He lifts up a finger to the wall across from him.

I don't answer and instead rub my arm up and down causing Shawn to turn his eyes towards me.

"Come on." He stands up and I give him a confused glance.

He outstretches his hand for me to take and I look at it for a second before my hand is swallowed in his.

He leads us outside and into his own room where Eliot sits down on the floor, watching the muppets.

There place is much nicer and cleaner than ours.

"Hey Eliot, if you stay here and be a good boy, I'll buy you more spiderman stuff." Shawn keeps my hand inside his and catches Eliot's attention.

Eliot snaps his head towards us with a gasp and a smile grows on his face.

"OK."

Shawn smiles and nods at him in satisfaction. Before Shawn closes the door, he peaks his head inside.

"Do not answer the door, or you can forget about that new spiderman movie!" With that he closes the door and takes me downstairs, and we walk to his car hand in hand.

"There's a new spiderman movie?" I ask. I know I'm not in with the program but I could've sworn there wasn't any new ones.

Shawn shrugs and opens the door for me, causing my mouth to hang open in shock.

"What?" He runs a hand though his wavy, brown hair and leans against his car.

Connor never does that for me. Either because he doesn't really take me anywhere or he's just an asshole.

I smile and wave him off, thanking him of course, while Shawn shuts the door.

He gets in moments later inside of his old, but modern looking car and turns the ignition on.
