"If you don't stop poking me, I'll bite you."

An evil smirk forms on my face before I squint my eyes, you know how villains do, and lift my finger to Shawn's nose.

"Poke."

Shawn's brown eyes lazily open with a soft, playful smile and before you can say Shawn Peter Raul Mendes, he hovers over me with an arm on either side and buries his face in my neck.

"Shaw–" I'm cut off with my loud laugh as he keeps planting kisses and blowing raspberries onto my neck.

"Gross, your tongue is touching me!" I joke and watch him lean his head back to gaze at me.

I take this opportunity to place both hands on either side of his face and mush it together, his lips forming into a duck face as a result.

"I don't think my tongue should even bother you, yesterday we took a shower together, naked." He whispers the last part as if someone was trying to listen to our conversation.

I roll my eyes at him.

"Well, most people do take showers naked." I shrug.

He smiles for a minute longer until it drops completely and he lays back down beside me.

"I hate to ruin the mood but, we need to talk about yesterday." He sighs.

"What time is it?"

"That was your boyfriend, or whoever, right?"

"I bet the weather is nice today."

"May."

"I'll go check if Eliot is up."

"May."

I frown and with a disappointed huff, my attempts to avoid an upcoming conversation failing, I lay on my side to face Shawn.

"I don't feel like talking." My words come out as mumbling.

Shawn's shirtless body flexes when he reaches into his hair and runs a hand through it.

"Well then I'll talk." His morning voice is stern and serious.

My lips pursed together, I tuck my hands under my head and wait for him to speak.

"What happened yesterday was not ok and if I could just get all of your things and leave I would, and I will. It hurts to see you laying on the ground, getting attacked from your so called boyfriend and in all honesty, he isn't your boyfriend." His face scrunched up in displeasure with each word that pasts his lips.

Don't say it May, don't do it cause you don't mean it anymore.

"He is my boyfriend, I love him. I know he loves me back, he just shows it differently." I mumble the last part and watch Shawn shake his head in disapproval.

"That isn't love, if anything I'm the one showing you love." He points at himself.

I roll my eyes and get up slowly, trying to keep my whimpers bottled up inside.

"See what he has done to you? You can barely sit up on your own!" He exclaims but helps me up anyways.

He's right but I'm not going to admit it.

I ignore him and walk to his bathroom to brush my teeth with the spare he had and wash my face. I hear quiet grumbling before a thump on the floor, followed by footsteps coming to where I'm at.

Go away.

"I don't want you to go back over there, May." He stands behind me and crosses his arms in the small mirror reflection.
