The Ultimate Enemy (Danny Phantom x Female!Reader)

Prologue: 10 Years Later

AMITY PARK: THE FUTURE

"Ghost shield Tower 8 is 100% operational, Val." I said through the communication watch on my wrist. On screen, Valerie's face appeared as she spoke.
"Great (Y/N)! I'm on my way to Tower 9. You go ahead to Tower 10 so we can get this over with." I smile and nod at her. "Roger that, boss." She laughs as her image on my watch disappears.

I pick up my jet sled, hop on it and take off from the balcony. As I fly across Amity Park, my mind starts to dwell on the past.

10 years ago, I lost people that I cared about to the Nasty Burger incident: Sam Manson, Tucker Foley, Jasmine 'Jazz' Fenton and Jack and Maddie Fenton.

Few weeks after that, I lost the love of my life Danny Fenton from an experiment gonna wrong.

And days after that, the ghost formally known as Danny Phantom killed my parents.

I guess you could say I have survivors guilt because everyday I keep wishing that it was me dead and not my friends and family, I keep wishing that I was the one buried and they were the ones patrolling the town and making sure that Amity Park is safe. But I keep waking up everyday and its still me, alive.

I shake my head and try not to dwell too much into it as I did have a job to do. I was halfway to the tower when suddenly I hear a haunting howl that was so loud I had to cover my ears. I look around and see the towers start exploding.

Oh no this can't be happening. I thought frantically.

I look behind me and see Valerie looking at the towers with shock and fear. I fly towards her. "Valerie what's going on? What's happening?" I ask.

At that point the shields dissolves and I hear the alarms and people screaming and running as the Emergency Bunkers are opened. Then I hear the voice that haunts my dreams. The voice I prayed I would never hear again, starts to speak from Val's watch.

"Like the new power? I call it my Ghostly Wail." said the voice. Valerie starts to scowl when suddenly a blazing purple blast came and hit her, knocking her off her jet sled.

"VALERIE!" I shouted and fly towards her to grab her before she became a Valerie pancake.

Luckily I grab her the last second. "Valerie are you ok?" I ask her.

"Ugh...yeah I'm ok." She replies weakly. I felt a cold chill up my spine as I turned around and see Fright Knight.

"You?" I exclaimed.

"Yes, me." He says, arms folded across his chest. "And I serve a new master now."

And he throws another purple blast at us but luckily we were faster and dodged it and flew off to get away. "We've gotta get to dad." Valerie said to me.

I sigh as I see the Fenton Works building coming closer. "When we get there you and your father need to get out." I said, sternly.

I see out of the corner of my eye Valerie's face, she looks sad and angry. "What? No! Do you know what he'll do to you, (Y/N)? He'll kill you!" She screamed at me.

"If that's what it takes, then so be it."

"But-"

"No buts Valerie! I don't have anyone...you've got your father so you need to get out once we get there." I argued.

We finally make it into Fenton Works and fly into the lab where her father was hiding. "Mr. Gray the Fright Knight is here which means HE can't be far behind. You and Valerie need to get out now! I'll try and slow him down." I ordered him as he gave me a concerned look. "Are you sure? You think can handle him?" Mr. Gray asks.

As I'm about to reply, we hear that haunting howl again. "RUN!!! GO!!!!" I yell at them as Mr. Gray jumps on the jet sled with Valerie, who gives me a saddened look. I look at her, smile and give her a two finger salute, she smiles and takes off as the floor starts to shake and crack open as the figure of Phantom appears.

"Hello (Y/n)." He says slyly.

"Phantom." I growled.

"Did Valerie ask you to stay behind to persuade me since we had a past?" He asked, sarcastically.

"No I volunteered." I replied as he starts to laugh.

"You know I use to think you were smart, now I think you are incredibly stupid. You think you can stop me? Actually, don't answer that...I know you can't because I can tell you still love him and since I look like him. You can't bring yourself to fight me." He laughs.

"You may look like him but you don't have his heart." I replied.

Phantom raises his left arm and starts to blast me with his ecto-energy blast but I'm ready for him. I raise my arms in front of me and an ecto shield appeared before me and block his attack. His face was priceless.

"What? How did you get ghost powers? You were a mere human the last time I saw you." He ask angrily.

I smirk and shout. "Goin' Ghost!" Then I transformed into my ghost self. My (h/c) hair turns white, my (e/c) eyes turns neon green, my clothes turn into a jumpsuit with the left side black and the right side (favorite color).

"Take a guess." I spat at him.

"Vlad." He growls as I flew straight towards him and began our war.

*Clockworks' POV*

"Do you understand?" Asked the first Observant. I fly to the screen just as the Fenton house explodes. "Yes. Danny Phantom becomes the most evil ghost in the world." I reply as I turn to face them. "What do you want me to do?"

"You are the Master of Time, Clockwork. Isn't it obvious?" The first Observant asked.

"To save the future, Danny Phantom must perish." replied the second Observant.
