The One

As you read in the last chapter, I talked about the guy I've been dating and how he's the one and all. Might as well talk about how we met.

August 24, 2015 is when I first talked to him. We made eye contact before and I waved a few times and he waved back but we never talked until then. I didn't know his name either. His name is Brenden. We were in English class together and my teacher, Mrs.R asked me a question on how to spell a word. I suck at spelling mind you, and I whispered to my friend sitting next to me and he said that he didn't know either. So I asked what Brenden's name was and I decided to ask him. He answered it for me and I was really happy. Cause I didn't know what the answer was and the teacher lets us do this and learn off of other people so long as it's not cheating. Which it wasn't so it was okay. I later found out that he had another class with me. It's called JROTC. We were in separate rooms with other people and we would come out into the pit almost every day and we would sit next to each other with our friends. This went on for a while and we got to know each other well. One day, there was a community service opportunity in October. It was called Trunk or Treat. I was going to sign up and do it cause we were basically giving a Halloween to the kids in the area cause it was supposed to be really bad on Halloween. Before I got up to go sign I asked him if he would go and do it with me. He said yes and we went up there to sign up. On October 28, 2015 was the night of the Trunk or Treat. I showed up and I thought he wouldn't come but he was there! It was really cold and he saw that I was cold so he said to me, "Would you like to wear my hoodie? You seem cold". At first I wouldn't take it so he took it off and put it in my hands. I put it on and after we were done handing out candy to the children, he asked if I wanted some coffee and of course I said yes. We walked to a Ricker's and he bought me a coffee. Then we walked to his house that was just near by. He had to get something and he let me step in since it was cold. His dad was near the door and he gave me a weird look. After he got what he needed, we walked back to the Trunk or Treat and sat on the edge of a fountain that was there, until my parents arrived. He walked me to my car and I left. Later on that night he asked me something.

"Do you like me? Cause you have been acting weird lately. It's okay if you do because I actually like you a lot and I have since I saw you."

"Yea I do. I think you're really nice and I had a good time with you tonight.", I replied to him.

"Well, Will you make me really happy and be my girlfriend?", he replied.

"Yes. :) I have to go but I will see you tomorrow. Good night!", I said plugging in my phone and going to bed.
