I had never seen such colors before. Ruby flags waved merrily in the breeze, alabaster walls kept a stoic eye upon the outside world; the grass was a shade of emerald so deep, I scarce believed it could be real. I was in heaven, I must have been. Hard faced sentries pierced me with their gazes.
"What business have you here, girl? " One little older than me called. His voice cracked, emphasizing his age.
"I'm sorry, I do not mean to cause any trouble!' I called 'Can you please tell me where I am? I seem to have lost my way in the forest".
I saw him leer at his mates, but I disregarded it in my innocence. His brutish eyes raked up and down the sooty rags covering my body.
"All right, love. Come up 'ere and we'll tell you where you are."

I followed him blindly with reckless abandon, still slightly disoriented. We walked into the cool corridors of the castle and he led me, more gently now, towards the unmistakable smell of man. We came into the barracks, the silence was unnerving. I walked further into the room, losing myself in the new sights. The bunks, the armor, the weapons, they were mesmerizing. I lapsed out of my trance at the sound of heavy footsteps. I stiffened before I felt his heavy hand rest upon my shoulder.
"Now,' He whispered 'where were we?"
