Katelyn's POV-
"Mommy! Look what Malachi gave me!" Charolette squealed as she showed off a friendship braclet. "Isn't it pretty!"
"Yes, it is!" I exclaim. "It's beautiful!"
Travis Jr waddled up to me, his hands reaching out for me. Laughing, I picked him up. "Hungry." He blabbed, and I laughed. "The macaroni is cooking! Where's Fern?"
"I'm upstairs, Aunt Katelyn!" Fern called. She wouldn't call me Mom. I'm happy she doesn't. That's a name for Charolette. The first one. "Hey kids!" Travis entered, returning from work. "Daddy!" Charolette and Travis Jr squealed, running and hugging him. "Daddy, look!" Charolette showed off her bracelet. "Wow, it's very pretty!" Travis complimented.
"We gonna play with Malachi and Levin tomorrow! I wanna see baby Lilith!" Charlotte squealed. "And then Uncie Vylad and Uncie Dante are gonna have everyone over for dinner!"
"Wow, that sounds like a fun day!" Travis exclaimed, ruffling Charolette's blue hair. "Yes!" Charlotte squealed as Fern came down. "Hey Uncle Travis! How was work?" She asked as she pulled her earbuds out. "It was great, dear. Now who's hungry?" Travis asked, and all the kids screamed excitedly. I poured the noodles into five bowls and watched them eat.
We've come such a long way. Man, I love them so much. This is my family. This is who I am.
