Chapter 2 - Bad Boy
All first class Rose couldn't get the mysterious bad boy out of her head. She tried to distract herself from thinking about him but she just came straight back to seeing the image of him on that bike and the those eyes. Those beautiful chocolate eyes. What was wrong with her? No one had ever made her this distracted before and she hadn't even talked to him but poof one look and he was already on her mind. She needed to snap out of it.
On her way to her second class she didn't see William which she was thankful for as it would have made her think about him more. But she couldn't help the pang of disappointment she felt at not at least catching a glimpse of him.
The more she thought about William the more on edge she felt. The look he had given her in the parking lot was intense like he knew what she was thinking about him and he found it amusing. But that couldn't be right. It was probably just her over thinking things.
Eventually Rose made it into English class where she normally spent most of her time talking with Sarah. Rose always enjoyed this lesson as the teacher Mrs Clinton was really nice to her and the class was very relaxed and easy going.
Rose made her way to her and Sarah's usual spot in the far corner. They always sat there because it was easier to talk without people overhearing what they were saying and it made it less noticeable that they weren't paying attention.
As she sat down at their desk she saw Sarah walk through the door looking happy as always. They had been friends since they were 12 and were like two peas in a pod. They knew each others moods and habits. They were same in what they liked to do. They both enjoyed the movies that each other liked and loved going shopping. They were basically twins with there likes and dislikes.
Smiling to herself Rose pulled her trendy Paul's Boutique bag onto the table to get her books out. She then saw Sarah next to her watching as she shoved her bag under the table and slumped into her chair. Looking at me she asked, "Where the hell did you shoot off to earlier? Me and Phoebe were worried because you ran off so fast!"
Gulp. This was going to be difficult to explain she thought, she had basically run off from them in the parking lot. She wasn't getting out of it without telling Sarah everything.
"Sorry Sarah I...I had to leave. I had to get to class."
"Rose it was the first bell you had 5 whole minutes to get to class what's up with you?"
"Nothing!"
"I don't believe you," she replied in a sing song voice. "Some thing's up I know you too well. Spill!"
Huff. I can never fool her. "Fine, the guy who was riding the motor bike, William, was starring at me. He looked at me like he knew what I was thinking which is completely whacked up so I took off and now I can't stop thinking about him." Sigh.
"What we're you thinking about? Anything nice, like how gorgeous he looked in that leather jacket."
"Like how he definitely fits the description of bad boy."
"Bad boy? More like too hot to touch boy." she said laughing. "And anyway you were probably imagining the whole he knows what I'm thinking thing or you could have misinterpreted the look he gave you and he definitely gave you a look if you know what I mean. So just chillax okay?"
"Yeah your probably right."
"I'm always right."
"Ha ha sure you are but thanks that helped."
"Anytime."she replied and with that English class went back to normal.
