Chapter 1 : Hopeland High
The trees sway to and fro from the harsh battering they receive from the howling wind. Leaves rustle above me and the darkened clouds overhead make me feel gloomy and miserable. It's going to be a very long day.
Sighing I continue to make my way through the gates of Hopeland High School for another boring day of lectures and learning. On the up side at least I have Sarah to keep me company throughout most of my classes.
"Hey Rose!!!", Sarah shouts from the doors of Hopeland High while waving enthusiastically for me to come over and join her and Phoebe.
"Hey guys." I say walking towards them "What are you's doing?"
"Nothing much just gossiping about the new guy who's starting today and about the assignment we've got to hand in later. What a bore that was."
"New guy?"
"Yeah his called William he just moved here from New Hampshire apparently." said Phoebe.
"Cool I didn't realize we had a new guy starting this term whats he like?"
"A bit of a bad boy from what we've heard. Got kicked out of his last school and transferred here of all places. We haven't seen him yet but the whole school is already buzzing about it." Sarah answered flipping her bleach blond hair over her shoulder.
"Wow I'm not surprised the school is gossiping about it with that reputation. He sounds like trouble with a capital T," Rose said laughing.
At that moment a shiny black Harley Davidson motorbike pulled up in the parking lot startling them into silence. The rider wore dark jeans, a dark grey tee that clung to his physique and a black leather jacket it was enough to make any girl ogle. Removing his black biker helmet he turned around to survey the school. That must be the new guy Rose thought to herself eyes watching the bikers every movement. He certainly looked like a bad boy. His gaze suddenly cut to Rose as if he knew she was thinking about him and all she could do was watch starstruck. His eyes were beautiful, an emerald green and his lips were perfect and pink wearing that cocky smile you would expect on a guy like him. Suddenly the bell rang for class snapping Rose out of her daze. Looking to Sarah and Phoebe she said " Guys I have to get to class I will see you later... maybe."
"Rose..." she heard Sarah say as she sped through the doors of Hopeland High but she didn't bother to turn back, all too aware that if she did he would be there watching her and she would just stand, powerless to move and stare right back. Because let's be honest who wouldn't?
