James POV
After the cashier had called their names,I kept my eyes on the light skinned girl and she had an ASSSSSSS on her. They sat back down and I nudged Kendrick's arm. We walked over there with Mariah between us.
"Wassuh ma." I said to the light skinned one
She looked up and said,"Do I look your Ma to you? My name is Shae."
"Well my name is James." She nodded her head. I continued saying,"So how about I get them digits?"
"Nahh. You good,"she said going back to what she was doing.
"So you ain't gone give me the number?" I asked with a raised brow.
"Let's make a deal. If I see anywhere else but here,then you will get my number."
"Deal."
I walked off but I said,"See you around Ma."
Brittany POV
When the two boys walked over here,we just kept doing what we were doing. Then one boy walked over to Shae talking and the other came over to me with a little girl.
"So what you up to Ma?"
"Planning a party."
"Oh. What's your name?"
"Brittany. You?"
"Kendrick." I nodded my head. "So how about I get your number?"
"We can make a deal. I don't give up my number that easy."
"So what's the deal?"
"If you see me anywhere else but here TODAY then you can get my number."
"Aight deal. See you around Ma."
"Hold on. Your little sister is pretty."
"Thanks but this is my niece."
"Oh."
Then I saw Shae putting her stuff back in her bag. She came and we walked out. Then Kendrick and the other boy yelled,"We'll walk y'all to your car."
Me and Shae looked at each other and smirked. We nodded and started walking. We got to our cars and they looked at each other and Shae said,"Well thanks. Brittany I will see you at the next spot."
I mouthed,"Mall?" She nodded her head.
We got in our car and the boys said,"Y'all got some nice ass cars."
We said thanks and headed towards the mall.
Kendrick POV
Getting back in the car,Mariah asked,"Can we go to the mall?"
"For what?"I asked
"Ummm.....I want some more clothes and shoes."
I sighed and headed towards the mall. James looked like he was deep thought.
"Aye man. Wassup wit u over there?"
"This is the first time I'm actually interested in trying to find a girl and get with her."
I nodded my head and said,"I feel ya on that one."
Fifteen minutes later,we pulled up at the mall. We walked in and went in footlocker when I saw two familiar girls they turned around and it was Brittany and Shae. They were talking to the owner. It looked like they flirting but I'm not going to jump to conclusions. Mariah was picking out shoes. Then I saw the owner give Shae a kiss on the cheeks.
I looked at James and he shrugged his shoulders. We were at the register when they were about to leave. We paid and were right behind them. That's when Brittany said,"I can't believe your daddy said you could have the party at his pool house and he gave you his black card even though you have your own."
"I thought he was going to say no,"Shae responded
"Well glad he called you to footlocker today."
They went to the food court and me and James looked at each other. They sat down at the table eating a sub. We walked over to them and Shae looked up first then tapped Brittany.
Brittany looked at Shae and smirked. They got up and threw their trash away. James got Shae and pulled her to the side while I talked to Brittany.
Before I could say anything,"So where is your phone?" I took it out and gave it to her and she handed me hers. I saved my name as "Kendrick😘" and she saved hers as "Brittany😍". Mariah hugged Brittany before she walked over to Shae. We walked out the mall with James behind us. I headed back to my house. James was scrolling through his phone then looked up and said,"They having a party tomorrow night."
"Guess my mama gone have Mariah then."
I pulled up to my house(3 story house) and walked inside. Mariah went upstairs to her room and I put her bags in there. She laid on the bed and went to sleep.
I went downstairs and James said,"I'll holla at you later. Imma go check the trap before I get home."
He dapped me up and left. I rolled up three blunts and smoked them before I went to sleep.
