Demetria's pov
I woke up on Mikey's chest and realized he had carried me into bed. I carefully moved his arm and got up to take a shower and clean my cuts then I got back into bed until Mikey woke up "morning Mikey" I said "morning beautiful" he said rolling over "ow ow owww Mikey your hurting me" I yelled "oh shit I forgot sorry" he said "it's ok" I said getting up to stretch then got back into the bed. Mikey just sat there staring me up and down then he started to trace over my cuts I winced at first but then I didn't hurt. "So what do you want to do today?" Mikey asked "nothing I'm in so much pain" I said but we ended up going downstairs to eat even though I wasn't hungry so I stayed in the living room and watched TV until he was done eating. Then Andrew's number came across my phone and I thought to myself can't he take a hint I don't want to talk right now but I answered anyway
Me- Hello
Andrew- What are you doing
Me- Nothing on the couch why?
Andrew- Derek got hit by a car
Me- What!?!?!?
Andrew- He's doing better but he wants to see you so can you please come down here
Me- I'm on the way text me the address
Andrew- Ok hurry bye
I couldn't believe it at first my uncle got hit by a car. "Mikey I'm going out I'll be back" I said "Ok but please be careful" He said "I will and got into Andrew's truck and drove to the hospital.
Andrew's pov
"Derek calm down she's coming to see you" I said but he wasn't having it the nurse was trying to calm him down before he hurt himself but he kept yelling and kicking. So I texted the gc
Me- Can y'all please come to the hospital
Nick- Yeah what happened
Deja- Yeah are you ok
Veve- I'm on my way
Julea- I'll be there
Kenzie- I'm coming is everything ok
Andrew- It's not me it's Derek he got hit by a car
Deja- Did you tell Dc
Andrew- Yeah she's coming but I'm scared that Derek is going to hurt himself
It was true I was dead scared cause I don't know how I can handle my brother passing away.
Demetria's pov
When I got to the hospital I went to the front desk "Hi how may I help you sweetie" The lady said "My uncle got hit by a car and my dad said he was here" I said trying to hide the panic in my voice "Ok what's his name?" She asked "Derek Couture" I said "Ok honey it's the 8th door to the right on the 6th floor" She said "Ok thanks" I said running to the elevator. When I got there I saw someone crying "Dad?" I said he didn't even look up he just pointed to the door and when I walked in I couldn't believe what I saw.....
