HAZEL JACKS POV
My jaw dropped. Freddie had explained our collab, He said the traps would be "special effects" but i wouldn't believe it. Connor looked at me, worry in his eyes. He came up to me and held me close as i stood there, in shock.
"That's absolute BS!" Joey Graceffa shouted from the crowd. Some of us nodded violently.
"But it sounds cool guys!" Toby yelled. some others nodded violently too.
"But were gonna 'die'. Im not sure you really mean we are going to die but it gives me the chills! Im out!" I sprinted for the door, trying to pry it open, it wouldn't budge.
"Just as i thought, Hazel.... You can no longer leave this place! The doors are locked with the same locks they use in jail, same security cameras, same techinoligy." Freddie started, then continued "I would say 'Happy Hunger Games' but that wouldnt make sense. See you all at the end of the maze...." Freddie backed up into smoke that had formed in the room... Wait... Thats not smoke, its some kind of gas. i coughed into my sleeve till my eyes closed tight. I felt a slight inpact on my left side as i fell. The room became silent, i was resisting the gas, this is not good. I continously coughed and coughed. I felt some sort of liquid, a red, slippery liquid. Blood. Light. Fade.

My eyes opened to dim lights, dusty walls and chippped paint.
"C-connor...?" I said following a cough. Why didnt i call for toby...?
"Hazel!" I heard a reply. I grinned, it wasnt connor though, it was toby.
"Where are we?!" I paniced.
"In the maze..." Toby trailed.
"Well this looks a- MAZE-ing." I punned.... is punned a word...? Well it is now. Punned....? Hm...
"Very Punny Hazel Rose Jack." toby said, quite annoyed too.

Sorry for w short chapter! I really didn't have time to write for anyone my fanfics! I have to write my 1D fanfic, this one, my joey graceffa one, jordan maron fanfics, yes, I have moar than one jordan maron fanfics that will be coming out on my solo account.
