"Good start to maths this year everyone. Well done. Pack up and head to your next lesson." The maths teacher told us.

I packed up my things and left the science block. I had a reasonable walk to the other side of school to get to the arts block. Good. Time to think.

MPE. MPE. Who could this be? They should be kind and caring because music teachers at this school always are.

The school has always taken care of music, even though barely anyone cares, except me. The teachers were always amazing and cared for you so I knew that whoever it was that was taking over the classes, they would likely be one of the only people that I could trust and that could hopefully rely on me back.

I walked in through the large, glass doors of the art block and rushed in to the ground floor hallway. I was the first person there as always because everyone else didn't care so they stalled all the way over. I was glad to have some time with the new teacher to show them that I was reliable and I respected them.

I was going to come and meet them at lunchtime but I wasn't allowed to go anywhere for being stuck in art to finish off my drawing seeing as when I was supposed to leave the classroom, I had only drawn half of a tree trunk.

The hallway was dim. I began to feel alone and I wanted someone to walk in so that there was some sound but I knew that they wouldn't come for a while if they ever came so I was just waiting nervously for the new teacher.

Suddenly the halls grew light as the music room door was opened. My head shot up and I saw a person emerge from the light filled room.
