Ella's pov
"Heyy El!" Niall said over Skype.
"Hey Nialler! What have you been up to?" I said, playing with my hair.
"Nothing much, touring ya know! What about you?"
"College, ya know!" I said, laughing because Niall's computer froze slightly as he was making a funny face.
"Oh my gosh your plat looks so cuuuuttee!" He said, putting on a girls voice.
"Why thank you!" I said.
After laughing for a bit I decided to get serious with him.
"Niall?" I asked, leaning into the camera.
"Yeah love?" He asked.
He called me love.
Oh my... No. If I am Chloe's friend, I won't like him.
"Well, you know we were talking on the phone earlier?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I didn't actually ask you what I called you for. So... Um... Do you fancy Chloe?"
He stopped. He looked like he was thinking about something.
"Well..." I started him off.
"Well... She is my best friend. I don't think I do. But I might. I did get jealous when I saw her with Kieron and she got jealous when she saw me with Katie. Why do you ask? Does she have feelings for me?" He asked.
"I don't know. She isn't really one to open up about stuff like that."
"Oh. What about you and Harry then El?" He smirked.
"What do you mean?" I asked. Why would he bring Harry up.
"Well, are you a couple?"
"Well... No. Why?"
"Just wondering."
"Oh right. Niall, I have to go. I have classes tomorrow morning. I'll text you!" I finished before going to the 'end call' button.
"Ok goodnight! Love you!" Niall said before quickly ending the call.
"Love you too." I mumbled, even though he was gone.
Niall's pov
"So... What did she say Niall?" Harry asked me as he walked in, wide eyed.
"Well, you aren't a couple." I said back quickly.
"So she won't mind if I go out with someone else?" He asked. This was wrong. Ella liked Harry but lately she didn't seem as interested. Maybe that's her way of getting him to like her more. Who knows?
"No. I doubt it." I say back. It actually killed me that he was even thinking that it would be ok to go out with someone else when he almost had Ella.
"Cool. Thanks for doing that for me dude. I hope she's ok with this. I do like her but... Who can it hurt?" He smiled before leaving the room.
"It could hurt her." I mumbled. It'll be fine.
They weren't even going out. They weren't even a couple. It's fine.
