“It wasn’t supposed to be this way!” I screamed, tears starting to well up in my brown eyes “We were supposed to get married, and have children. We were supposed to grow old together. That was the plan, but that can never happen now.” Tears slowly started to run down my face, causing my vision to blur.
Phil said nothing; he just sat on my bed silently whilst he looked at me sat on the floor in the corner of my room with my knees hugged tightly to my chest.
I took a deep shaky breath “She’s gone Phil. She’s dead.”
