I mean, isn't almost everything unexpected? If it wasn't part of a specific plan, I suppose everything would be considered unexpected in the long run.
My life took a one-eighty turn on the unexpected side on my seventeenth birthday. I'd never expected to save the life of a hardass incapable of caring for anyone but his sister, much less inviting the total stranger into my home. I'd never expected to get into the complicated world I did, dragged down to the bottom with the two of them and their fatal issues. None of this was apart of my plan, not that I'd had much of a plan to begin with.
All I knew, was I'd just become the single daisy trapped in a tangled up web of thorned roses.
