Clumsy

Chapter 7

Lincoln's pov

I hear the bell ring at the end of the lesion and pack up slowly not knowing where to sit at lunch.

Then suddenly I remember that the guys I meet in music said I could 'chill' with them at lunch.

I start walking out of the classroom when Sir stops me and says

"Can you turn up on time next lesion." I nod walking out.

"Now time to find Austin." I say to myself just as I spot him. I walk more quickly over to him.

"Hey, do you mind if I still sit here." I ask.

"Nar man!" He replies "oh this is max " he says pointing to the dude next to him. I nod in his direct and he nods back.

I look down at a peace of paper that the office gave me that I don't need anymore.

"I'll be back" I say and they give me a quick nod, I swear I could have a hole conversation just nodding and know everything the said sometimes.

I walk to a bin and spot clumsy looking down, her brown haired friend looks up gasp then says "Oh my gosh look who is walking over here Alaska!" I turn around quickly after tossing the paper in the bin and walk back to the guys, clumsy's real name must be Alaska. It's a really beautiful name.

When I get back we all nod at each other before the brown haired girls comes over.

"Hey I'm Alice, your Lincoln right?" She says kinda flirting with me I try to hold in a laugh.

"Yeah I'm Lincoln" I say maybe a bit rudely, oh we'll maybe she will get that flirting doesn't work with me.

They all start talking about class and I zone out and think about clums- Alaska. Her hair is just perfect it's brown at the top then fades at the bottom and goes into a dark blue. She has the most amazing smile even though I have only briefly seen it but when she smiles it makes her lip ring pop out and look cool..

I am nudged in the stomach everyone was looking at me.

"Um what did you say?" I ask

"Do you like this school?" Alice asks

"Well so far it's good but I haven't been her for that long."

I look up to see Alaska and another girl walking over."Finally joining us." Max says

"Yeah we had to have a girl talk about pms and stuff.. Didn't think that you would want to hear." The other girl says to max. Maxs gives then a weird look then says "To much information!" I totally agree with that. I look down at my watch and realizes I going to be late if I don't go now.

"Well I'll catch you later, don't want to be late for my first band practice." I say and turn to leave but before I do I wink at Alaska.

I walk over to the stop they told me to meet them when I see Alaska running past and almost tripping over 20 people. God she is clumsy.

The band still hasn't come by the time she gets out of the bathroom she is looking the other way so I take a chance and grab her hand and pull her towards me.

"What do you want?" She asks

"God, I was just going to say you should walk around school like that."

"Like what?" I reply not knowing what else to say

I almost burst out in laughter because she doesn't know what I'm talking about, I point down to her shoe and she looks before quickly talking the toilet paper off her shoe.

"Thanks." She mumbled then she says "So I was um.. Wondering um.. Why did you, you know.. Wink at me today?"

Oh no she doesn't like being winked at, I know I'll play it cool

"I wasn't winking at you the wind picked up and something was in my eye, your silly and clumsy." I say trying to hide that I was lying

"I'm not silly, maybe a little bit clumsy" She says smerkimg a little.

"Whatever you say clumsy." I say and She turns to leave.

"See ya round clumsy."

"Yeah" she says turning back around.

Before I could stop myself I winked at her again. Her mouth mades a perfect O shaped I turned around laughing and walked to where my new band members were standing.
