Nolans's POV

I laid in my bed that night, the hug the hand holding the almost kiss. everything was too much for me to handle. and even more, what I said the other night, did she hear me? is that why she held my hands. or does she actually feel what I feel? is she actually? The thoughts consumed my brain. I was falling for her. There's just something so special about her.

Daniel started to wiggle around in his bed then he sat up. he started to cry and he gripped his stomach. "daddy" i jump out of bed and kneel next to daniels toddler bed. And than he started to go spacy. he turns his head towards the floor and throws up. i pick him up and walk with him to the bathrom. i hold him in my lap as he continues to vomit.

I looked at my watch

5:34 in the morning 

my delievery guy was going to be here, and our usual babysiter went on vacation and i need someone to watch him since he cant go to preschool. luckily my saving grace jsut text me.

hey.. do you need any help today with Daniel or the diner? my mom is coming into town tomorrow morning and i think my heart is going to beat out of my chest. oh and sorry if this woke you up! -Aria

You didn't wake me up. I've been up for a while since Daniel has the stomach flu. And our usual sitter is on vacation. Is there anyway you can come like rn? - Nolan

Of course. See you in 5 - Aria

I stood in the diner as she walked in. I led her to the upstairs apartment where Daniel was fast asleep. She smiled at me and sat in the chair next to his bed.

Arias pov
I was so nervous about my Mom coming. What was she going to say. Was she going to kick me out of my house. All these things were tumbling around. But I had someone else to focus on. I had to watch Daniel. Nolan said he has the stomach flu. So I sit next to him and he wakes up. I get him some Gatorade so he'd replenish his electrolytes and I read him some stories than he fell back asleep. I put my hands on my bump and sighed. Four more months. Than I'd really have to figure it out. I heard the door open and Nolan came in with some toast and bacon and two over easy eggs. As well as a chocolate milk. I smiled up at him. I can't believe he remembered. He smiles at me "did I get it right?" He asks with a smirk on his face. "Yes you did" I say to him. "How is he?" "He will get better just gotta wait it out" i tell him. "Can't thank you enough for helping out with Daniel. And I was thinking the fall dance is This Saturday, and I found someone to babysit Daniel for the night. How about you and I figure out what we are" he says to me "I'd like that" I say and smile at him. "Well I have to go back to the diner. I'll bring you up lunch in a little bit." He kisses me on the cheek.

Nolans pov
I just messed up. But my gut said I had to kiss her. There was nothing else. So when I go up with her lunch it'll be super awkward and I'll have messed the whole idea of the dance.
