Aria's POV

July 3rd        5:58

My phone buzzed on the table on the other side of the room where it had been for the last 35 minutes and 32 seconds not that I had been counting, actually I have.. My cousin Dave was over for dinner. We were having a pre- 4th of July party.

"Aria, do you have  a boyfriend" Dave ask taking me out of my trance

"No"

"your stumbling who's the fella?"

"Dave nobody!!"

"Well just remember me and your father know everyone in this town, we'll be keeping our ears and eyes open. We don't want you ruining your life by doing something stupid.

July 3rd 7:47

"Bye Dave" I say as he leaves. Next task; get phone and find out who was texting me.

May: Aria!!! r u ignoring me?????

May: ANSWER ME!!!!

May: where r u???

May: Just got an invite to Josh's party!!! you want to go???????

I texted back quickly, after sneaking into the bathroom

Aria: Sorry company was over

May: no problem!!! are you going to go?

Aria: I don't know is it that big summer party he always has?

May: yes!!! pls come with me!!!

Aria: is your mystery guy going??? 

May: Maybe ;-)

Aria: Tell me his name and I'll sneak out of the house and come

May: your going to sneak out?? why don't you just tell your parents your spending the night at my house?

Aria: because sneaking out is more fun!! thats why?

May: you've got to be kidding me Aria!! your the good country girl

Aria: where'd you hear that rumor??

May: are you going???

Aria: Yes

May: see you at my house at 3?

Aria: of course!!

May and I have been best friends in the whole universe since she moved here in 7th grade. We were inseparable.

Next Day: 

"Mom I'm going to May's house" I shout as I run around the house grabbing a bunch of things I might need.

"Okay. Have fun!!"

"Bye"

"Bye"

Do i run the 20 minutes to her house, walk and it takes me 30 minutes. Ill run!!!

I climbed through her window because her dad was always drunk so she hid out in her room.

"is he?" I asked she had told me about his drinking and how he abused her in 8th grade.

"he's passed out"

"okay"

"we should get ready?"

"yeah"

That night at the party

Tyler's POV

school was out. no more dealing with teachers and stuff. I had one more year than it would all be over with. I'd skip this town, never coming back.
"the little chicks are here" Josh says

"yeah be right there" I got a drink and cranked the music

there she was, Aria I think her name is.... but she's a good girl. everyone knew it. why was she even here? everyone knows she has strict parents that would never allow her to do stuf flike this.

"hey joey" "hey, Delilahs here" "she isn't?" I sighed "over there" Delilah was an old hook up but she never got over me.

Aria's POV

There was Tyler, Dave's nephew. Let's just say Dave loves him a little too much!! he's a farmer boy, farmer tan jacked up chevy. He was the definition of a farmer boy, but he had a bit of a bad boy reputation as well. although in my small town every 'rich white girl' loved him. I on the other hand had my summer already loaded with fun filled farm duty all summer well  pretty much all year, no time for a boy.

"Aria" I turned my head May was walking up to me and handed me a glass . "you kn-" "shut up!!" "but I don't drink usually " "I made this drink special for you cuz I needed to hear the conversation between Josh and Tyler" "spill" I said "drink" "you know my parents" "who cares about your parents you'll be cooped up at the farm all summer have some fun" "okay but spill" I took a sip of the drink and let it sting the back of my throat. I'm only 16 but vodka was not something I haven't had before. I usually get spiked lemonade at the farm after first hay cut is done. The farm hands Caleb ( my cousin) and his other 2 buddies bring it and May and I spend the night drinking spiked lemonade around the fire and if we're lucky and everyone else is gone and its late at night we find calebs stash of vodka and have a few shots. "So apparently theres a girl at this party that Tyler wants to ya know" she says raising her eyebrows. "Really you know who?" "No but she's in our grade" "good to know" "where you going may" calls after me as I head out the door of Josh's house. I've been to his house before since his parents and mine do a bible study together. I slid off my flip flops and set down my cup after finishing the last sip. I stood at he edge of the pond letting my feet sink  into the warm pond water before heading over to the dock sitting down I pulled out my phone 11:23

Mom : we won't be home tomorrow until late stay with May and be careful. And do sleep Monday dad says they're  going to plant the soybeans. Which means picking rocks.

Aria: okay have fun tell dad I'm looking forward to rock picking.

Mom: haha okay he says good.

"You know you shouldn't be alone" the voice spooked me causing me to fall into the water. "Oh I'm sorry didn't mean to scare  you aria" "it's fine Tyler" I said taking his hand and pulling myself up my white shirt his see through my pink bra showing through my jean shorts soaked. "Your beautiful" "thanks" I said hoping the darkness kept my red face hidden from him. "Are you cold? I bet you are" "I'm more wet than cold" "come with me lets ditch this party and have some real fun" Tyler suggests I don't know if it was the vodka talking but I nodded  my head and let Tyler show me to his jacked up Chevy. "Nice Chevy" I comment as I sit down in the passenger seat.

"Well heres the shower I'll just be waiting here" "thanks Tyler" I say shutting and locking the door behind me and striping out  of my wet clothes luckily if I take a long enough short my unders might  dry.

I'm in a house, not my house a guys house a cute guys house. I'm taking a shower In A cute guys shower. I let my mind wonder  as the heat engulfed me.
