Chapter 2

Ash's POV:

I wasn't look forwards to today, it was the day that my pack members from the Sliver Light Pack who were of the age to go to school to join the local high school. The only reason I was going was to see if on the off chance my mate would be there which I doubt plus I'll be with my best friend and Beta Logan.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm 17 about to turn 18 in a month, my names Ash Bradford and last month my dad passed down the Alpha title to me. I can't wait till I find my mate, she'll be my Princess and I'll make sure that I do every possible thing to make her happy and I'll be damned if someone ever make her cry. I growl at the thought.

"Yo dude time to get up!" Logan shouted through the door. "You never know there could be some hotties at this new school and we could even find our mates."

“Yeah maybe. Now get lost so I can get dressed.” I ordered.

For some reason my wolf was acting up and kept on telling me that something was going to happen but I just ignored him.

I decided to wear my dark jeans, blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up with my leather jacket and my vans on my feet.

 I made my way to the kitchen and saw my mum cooking bacon and pancakes on the stove. “Morning mum.” I greeted and kissed her cheek.

“Morning  sweetie. Looking forwards to school today?” she asked.

“I suppose but my wolf feels really unsettled and on edge.” I told her.

“Oh well maybe you’ll meet your mate, you never know.” She informed me.

I took a plate filled with bacon and pancake and scoffed them down before I was late to school.

I walked towards my car and found Logan leaning against the bonnet of my car waiting for me to drive to school.

------------- At school -------------

I smelt the sweetest smell but I couldn’t work out what it was, I sniffed and looked around but still couldn’t locate the smell. I looked at Logan and saw he could smell something too.

“Dude what’s that smell it’s driving my wolf crazy.” I said.

“Yeah mine too.” He responded.

I walked into the school with Logan by my side and pretty much every head turned our way to stare. Girls eyes filled with lust and guys filled with envy. What can I say we’re pretty fit plus we are the bad boys in our pack and had the good looks to go with the image.

“Hey dude there’s a footy team. We should so tryout.” Logan let me know.

“Yeah cool tryouts are after school. Let’s go to the office and get our timetables.” I told him.

We got our timetables and discovered we had all our lessons together so made our way to first period.

----------Lunch time-----------

I still smell that sweet smell and I still can’t figure out what it is. Now it’s lunch time so me and Logan headed to the canteen and then closer I got the stronger the scent was.

As soon as I walked through the doors my wolf growled ‘MATE! GET MATE!’ That’s when I noticed her, from the back I saw she had blonde hair and a slender body and looked quite small. She sat opposite her friend was staring at Logan; well I guess he found his mate.

My mate turned around and she was beautiful, my gaze met her bright blue eyes and noticed she was maybe a year or so younger than me. I noticed she was checking me out which caused me to smirk. Was I caught her looking she blushed a bright red and looked away.
