Chapter 3: Blown Away

Nicole's POV

"Nick? Dereks spoke as we shifted.

"Yeah?" I asked stretching

"Why didn't you speak to your mate?" He asked.

"I will speak with him later tonight. There isn't much explaining i can do because he already knows i'm slash. He just doesnt know my voice or face." I said.

"My mate is here to." He said.

"What? That's great!" I said.

"She ran when she saw who i was." He said sadly.

"Give her time to come around. I mean we are killers. She has the right to be scared at first." I said.

"I'm sure your mate is scared shitless." He said.

"I am too." I said laughing.

"Let's get set up" He said.

"Let's start with cameras. Get them set up that way we see anything that comes in and comes out." I said as we grabbed all the cameras. There is 10,000 cameras we have to set up but the fun part is it is already wired and set to my system.

We took off running and setting up all the camera. We finished within 30 minutes.

"Ready to set up the traps?" Derek said.

"You already know." I said as we grabbed all the traps.

After about 2 hours of setting up. All the traps I started to become light headed and so did Derek.

"What is happening?" I asked running to Derek. As soon as we touched. A blinding white light happened and we where thrown backwards. I have no idea where Derek landed but I landed on a tree.

"Oh fuck." I groaned.

"Are you alright?" A guy ran to me. I nodded my head.

"You are bleeding. Let me look at it." He said cleaning my eyebrow.

"Slash are you okay?" Derek ran over to me.

"What happened?" My mate ran over to me.

"Our powers have surfaced." Derek said.

"Mine did to. Except i wasn't blown away" He said.

"Rouge." My mate said and soon as he said that a rouge jumped out at my mate i already pulled out a pistol full on lethal wolfsbanes and put a bullet between his eyes.

"Holy shit." Derek said

"Dude, your mate is killer." The guy bending beside me said.

"Let's get you to my house and up to your room." My mate said ad he touched me and sparks shot through our bodies.

"Lead the way Alpha." Derek said shifting. I did as well and then my mate. He was pure white with crystal blue eyes.

He took off running. It wasnt hard for us to keep up. We were all side by side. We soon ran up to a giant beautiful house. I was in shock. I shifted back.

"Right this way." My mate said.

We followed him and he lead us to the rooms. Derek told him we would be down in a minute. We needed to talk first.

"Are you gonna talk when we go down there?" Derek asked. I nodded.

"Are you going to accept him?" He asked. I nodded over and over again.

"Are you ready to show him the real you?" He asked. I nodded slowly

"Well lets go." He said and we walked down stairs to see my mate.

"Alpha." Derek nodded

"Call me Axel." He said and i shivered.

"Im derek." my brother said

"I'm Nicole." i said surprising him causing him to shiver as well.

"When will i be able to see your face?" He asked.

"Now" i said as me and derek both put down our mask.

"Beautiful." Axel said getting up and coming to touch my face. I flinched back but then relaxed.

"There was a blue headed girl in your pack. What's her name?" Derek asked.

"That would be Sapphire. She is is precognitive." Axel said.

"She's the one who can see the future." I said to Derek.

"That's amazing." He said

"If we have someone missing all she has to do is touch one of there belongings and she is able to tell us a description of where they are." He explained and soon there was a knock at the door.

"Alpha. There are 14 rouges right at the boarders just standing and staring. There are 7 at the North side and 7 at the East side" A warrior wolf came in.

Me and Derek nodded and put our masks on and took of running to the smell of them.

"Take the north. I have East." I said and we took of running in the directions.

I pulled out my pistol and got quiet as i approched the rouges. Once they say me they started to attack me.

I killed 6 of them and ran out of bullets.

"Fuck." I said as the rouge snarled at me. I pulled out my katana and twirled it in my hand. It charged through me and i ran as well. I leaped when he did. I spun in the air and swung the katana down slicing him in half. His blood covered me. I was breathing heavy and got up. Derek ran towards me.

"You okay?" He asked me. As well as Axel and alot of warriors ran to me.

"Why are you covered in blood?" He asked checking over me.

"It's the rouges. If you dont mind i would love to show because i stink." I said walking away.

"Is she always this closed off?" Axel asked Derek.

"Give her time. We both had it hard. She was trained to be that way." Derek said

"Who trained you?" He asked.

"Our father." Derek said.

"Who is your father?" He asked.

"The same man you called to get us here." Derek replied as i got inside and went to my room yo shower.

I got in and unpacked some clothes and then got in the shower. I washed myself as many times as it took to empty the bottle of body wash. I got out and changed into compression shorts and a sports bra. I then walked out and went to my bag and grabbed joggers and a tank top. I walked down stairs and seen Derek and Axel sitting on the couch. They both had showers.

"Wow. You are beautiful." Axel said as he seen me in normal clothes.

Maybe this whole mate thing won't be so hard.
