"Ok...a physical science book. I don't even know if they own one of those." I sighed as I stared blankly at the tens and hundreds of books sitting in front of me. Jeremy caught up with me to help me on my search. "Bro, have you even looked in the physical science section?" he pointed towards another aisle I had yet to examine. "Oh. Hadn't done that quite yet." I begin to make my way down there.

"Dude, doesn't Coleen read?" Jeremy pointed to a line of sexual books. I rolled my eyes and chuckled a little. "I doubt Coleen has ever picked up a book." I mumbled.
"Which is why you two are so great for each other." Jeremy ran his hand through his dark chocolate brown almost black hair. Coleen was really hot, but unlike Jeremy, I was looking for a more committed relationship.

God knows if I told him that he'd flip a table. But I am almost 19, and I'm trying to be with someone who I can see myself marrying one day.

I continued searching for a physical science book until I finally found the one we needed. "Hey, August, Ryan is here to pick me up for a party, wanna join?"
"He picked you up at a bookstore?" I questioned while peeking over the shelves to see Ryan's Mercedes Bens in the parking lot. "I asked him too. It's almost 9:00. Lets just go man, the book can wait."

I nodded and caught one more glimpse at the physical science book before walking out with him.

"Oh Jill, that dress is beautiful on you." my sister marveled my dress as I spun in many circles. "You think? It's not too flashy?" I asked while pulling it up in the front. She smiled and shook her head, "Its perfect."

I turned to face her and smiled widely, "I just love it. Thanks so much Sydney." I wrapped my arms around her neck and she left my room.

I spun a few more times in my mirror before deciding to take the gorgeous red dress off and get ready for bed. I skipped into my closet and changed into shorts and a long t shirt.

I climbed into my bed and curled into the blankets. Staring down at my many decisions of what I should continue reading tonight.

After finally picking out one of my favorites, I began where I left off. "She changed him. And though the world may not see it yet, he's a better man because of her. She did that, she turned him into someone better. But now he couldn't have her. And his world became darker, and darker. But her one request she left for him was to stay the better man she molded him into."

Morning
august.

I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. The sound of my dog scratching at the door to be let outside woke me. I tried to sooth the pain by massaging my temples gently.

At that moment, I looked down to realize I don't have light pink sheets. I also don't have a Yorkipoo who was still scratching at the door. My walls weren't this flowery wallpaper. And then it hit me.

I slept at Coleen's.

I frantically threw the blankets off of me and they fell on top of Coleen who was still sound asleep. I jumped out of bed and rushed to put my clothes on that were laying in the floor. Just about that time, the small yapping dog saw me, and not Coleen. Expecting it to go crazy, I reached down to pet her and then made my escape.

Thank God I knew how to get home from her house. I just hoped I didn't walk in on Jeremy naked with some girl.

I pull up to my apartment building and hurry inside, still no memory of last night.

"Jeremy I'm home!" I slammed the door behind me, still shaking from being in such a big hurry a few minutes before. No one replied, for the apartment sounded empty. But just to make sure, I sneaked into Jeremy's bedroom.

Sure enough, there laid Jeremy and one of Coleen's freinds, Bella. I just rolled my eyes and walked out, no use in bothering them. For I had problems way over my head already.

I was woken by my cat creeping on my bed and pressing her nose against mine, as a sign to wake up and feed her. It was about 12:00 in the afternoon, probably the latest I've slept in all summer. I got out of bed and brushed my teeth and hair. My bare feet walked across the cold kitchen tile to find some cat food for Ellie.

I decided I would go to the book store again today because I desperately needed the sequel to my book. But I had all intentions on watching one more episode of Grey's Anatomy before going. So I settled down on the fluffy couch with Ellie and began watching a recording of the show.
