I woke up that morning and threw the blankets off me. I grabbed my vans crop top, camp leggings, and my black vans. I grabbed my vans snapback that said 'vans off the wall'. I ran to the bathroom, and quickly brushed my teeth. I got my board and skated away, totally forgetting about breakfast.

I came to a number of steps. I bent my knees getting ready to jump. I did a Ollie, landing it perfectly.

After I arrived at the skatepark I looked around for Jacob, but couldn't find him anywhere.

I stood at the end of the bowl at he park and dropped in. I did I couple of tricks, landing them perfectly. A couple boys looked at me in awe. I smirked. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head so fast that it hurt. I cringed.
"Oh hey Jake," I said.
"Hey Riles."  Riles? Thats a new one. But I like it. "You ok?" Jake asked noticing me holding my neck.
"Yeah, you just kinda scared me," I said probably blushing.
"Oh sorry. So uh did you practice the fakie 360 flip?" He asked.
"Yeah, but I still can't get it," I said looking down at my board.
"Hey don't give up now!" Jake said lifting my chin with his index finger. That made my cheeks get hot. That gave me the courage to do it again.

I got back on my board and did all the tricks in the right order. And, of course, I fell. Jacob chuckled and held his hand out for me to take it. I laughed and took it and he pulled off of the ground.
"Here. Watch me," Jake said getting in his skateboard. He did all the steps to the Fakie 360 flip, landing it perfectly. "How did you do that?!" I asked, completely shocked. He smiled at me.  "Lots and lots of practice."

We stayed at the skatepark for another 2 hours, talking, laughing, and showing each other tricks.

I looked down at my phone and realized the time. All the other skaters had left.
"Hey I better go," I said getting up from my skateboard. Jake looked down at his watch.
"Yeah me too," he said. Hey opened his arms for me to hug him. I embraced him, not wanting to let go.
