"So wheres Ms.Orlem right now?" I asked while adding a packet of sweetner to my cup of tea.It was a very nice and elegant floral tea cup.

"Right now she's resting in the room across that hall way over there" Sophie pointed at a hallway right behind where Rupert and I were sitting at.

"I see,we'll try our best to keep our voices down.."Rupert said sipping his tea.

"That'll be great, thank you..." Sophie said, she was just sitting right across from us on a big red reclining chair.

"Sophie,do you know anything about Ms.Orlem"I asked her

"What specifically?"

"Like her childhood or any medical conditions..."

"Well right now she's just dying from old age...the poor woman is hanging on as long as she can. There is'nt really anything wrong with her except the fact that she's still probably traumatized"

"Traumatized by what?"

"Do you remember on the news about a plane crashing in the Gulf of Mexico?"

"The one about 20-30 years ago?" Rupert asked

"Yes that one, well apparently a dear friend of Ms.Orlems' died on that plane crash"

"Really...I'm so sorry to hear that..." I felt a internal burning sensation in my stomach.

"After that,I heard that Ms.Orlem hid herself away from the world and cut off all her connections from the real and digital world. She really was depressed that time..
And once I was hired to take care of Ms.Orlem when she was around 78 years old,she seemed like she was dead on the inside...
Ms.Orlem kept asking me what she did wrong, and she still is asking me that today."

"How many days do you think she has left?" Rupert asked

"The doctors said about 2 more weeks"

I sighed.
It's hard to believe all of us will soon become like Effie. But,we all live to die right?

"Do you think you could make Ms.Orlems last moments happy?" Sophie asked softly

I chuckled
"That's what we're here for"
