Once we got to the girls dormitories I raced to a bunk bed next to a window and claimed it for Rose and I. Rose unpacked her things and put them in the top chest. Then, I grabbed my things for the bottom chest while I was unpacking I noticed a note folded up in the front pocket of my suitcase. I decided not to read it until I had some privacy."Hey Rose , do you think we could find our owls?"I said hoping to give them a special snack I had."Yeah, Frin and Redwing? They will be in the Owlrey ." And so we walked down the stairs and out the fat lady painting. After a few wrong turns and moving stairways, we finally reached the Owlrey. I looked around for Frin but he was nowhere to be seen as soon as I gave up looking I felt claws land on my shoulders. "I found Frin!"I joked with Rose as Redwing came flapping through the window. I grabbed a letter to Uncle George from my pocket I read through it once more
" Dear Uncle George,
I am working on something new for the shop but I need a pinch of pygmy puff hair , preferably purple. Also what spell do you use on the extendable ears to make the extension cord invisible? I'm excited to visit the shop in a few weeks! I will drop off my prototype when we visit.
Love, Lily Potter"
I put the letter back in the envelope and tied it to Frin's foot. After Frin left I noticed it was getting late " Let's head back before we get declared out past curfew."I told Rose . "Yeah , and we especially don't want to be caught by Professor Longbottom!"Rose joked sarcastically. "I will let you off this time, but next time just because I was friends with your parents doesn't mean I will let you off." Rose said in her best Professor Longbottom accent. That sent us giggling all the way back to the common room . After everyone was fast asleep I opened up the note it was in simple handwriting and read "Meet me in the common room tonight" assuming this meant the Gryffindor common room I slipped out of bed checked my outfit, and headed down stairs with my wand gripped tightly in my hand. I could feel the Unicorn hair pulsing underneath the oak wood of my wand. As I peeked around the corner I saw the shadow of a first year.
