So, since this is a Shayne x Reader story it naturally includes (Y/N) or "Your Name". I don't know what you read your stories on, but if you have a device you can use google chrome on I have something for you that can make this story even better and maybe even a new experience.
I've found this downloadable "thing" (only for google chrome!!!) on tumblr which replaces y/n with the name you enter for yourself. If your stories also include y/h/c or "your hair color" you can also replace that. It will automatically change once it's registered.
