Chapter 10 Ask on a date

Tuesday
Kamala POV

Ugh another day again. I can't believe I break down like that yesterday night over a text message wow seriously. Its not like I like him , or do I?  I don't know. But what I do know I cried for no reason last night wow.

Anyways now I gotta get up to get ready for work.

I'm now at work doing the regular routine. Waiting on costumers. Today's Tuesday so its not so slow today, and I'm glad about that. Then in came costumers one by one. And I serve each one of them .
Hours, mins, and seconds pass. More people kept coming in and out.

Then break came for me. I took a break and called Stacey to take over . I grab my purse and walk out side to the parking lot to my car. I unlock the door and hop in. I'm going to go order some lunch from subway. Its only 15 minutes away, and I have a 30 minutes lunch break.

I reached to subway shortly , and I went inside and bought a long sandwich and a orange soda. Tasty.. Then I walk back to my car and hop in. But I didn't move yet, I just sat there in my car to eat. Then my phone start ringing ugh. Who would be so cruel to ruin my Lil lunch break ? I grab my phone and answered it.

      Call started

Me = Hello?

Liam= Hey Kam!! Sup
Did I disturb you?

Me= uh no you didn't, I'm taking a lunch break. Nothing much what about you?

Liam= Everything's cool. I call cause I wanted to ask you something.

Me= Oh ok. What is it?

Liam = Would you like to go on a date with me on Friday?

Me= Oh sure why not..*giggle*.
At what time though and where?

Liam= I'll pick you up at 8 pm.
And its a surprise!!

Me=  I hate surprises , and how am I suppose to know how to dress?

Liam= Oh really *laugh*. Just wear something casual but not to casual cause you are always cute in what ever you wear.

Me= Aww how sweet. Ok
See you Friday !! Bye

Liam= Yh bye cute face!

      Call ended

Wow!! He's taking me on a date!! I'm so excited!!! What? No! I mean I'm so not excited. But he's so sweet wow!!.. I think I'm tripping. But he doesn't need to know that. And I'm glad that he ask me on a date. Does that mean by any chance he might like me? What of course not, he told me he likes someone yesterday night in the text messages. And why do I even care. I'm cold hearted I'm not suppose to fall for no body. But now look I'm already falling for him. What? No I'm not, I think I am, but it's not possible. Urghh whatever.

I place my phone down and took out my sandwich out the paper bag and its wrapper and started to eat it as I take sips of my juice.
15 mins later.

After eating my lunch I returned back to work. Its only 3:45 pm . Soon I'll be able to go take my classes then go home to sleep.
But some how a big smile is plastered on my face .  I drove back to work and park my car in the original employees parking space and hop out. Then I made my way inside the store. I returned back to the cash register desk and send Stacey back to where she was before helping costumers just like Sabrina. Looking at the time again , I'm almost done.

Liam POV

I can't believe it!!! She said yes!! Omg!! I am so excited!!..

I called Kamala and ask her on a date and guess what she said. She said yes!! Seems like she didn't hate me after all. Soon we'll be a happy forever couple!yah!

"Dude why are you so happy?" Carlos ask entering the living room with his laptop in his hands.

"I asked kamala on a date. And she said yes!!" I squeaked like a girl.

"Oh wow. That's great bro!!" He said now sitting on the other couch.

"I know dude. So anyways how are you and Kalela?" I ask all of a sudden changing the subject.

"We're good!!" He said looking at his laptop screen.

"Or that's good!" I simply say pursing my lips together now.

Feeling slightly bored now that Carlos attention is only on his laptop , I took the TV remote control and turned it on . Then click on sport channel. What a long time I haven't watch some good sport . I guess I've been too busy and plus Kamala being on my mind also. Yup

Now that I told her the date is a surprise I have to think of somewhere to bring her as a surprise. But I'll have a lot of time to think of something.

I turn the channel on basketball.
Stephen Curry looks like he's always winning lol. He's a very good basketball player to be honest.

"Yo dude, volume please I'm trying to finish something" carlos said still focus on his laptop.

"Or , sure I'll put it down. Sorry bout that" I said turning the TV volume down a Lil.

"Yh thanks" he said.

I sat there and relax my back on the couch as I watch the sport.
As I watch this , I kept on thinking bout Kamala. What is with that girl that makes me so obsessed with her? I don't know, now my excitement is causing not to even be focus on my favorite sport urggghh.
Can't blame my mind, she's a cutie.
