Prologue

I am Hatsune Miku, an artist of Vocaloid and student of the Vocaloid Gakuen. I think that you need some explanations about this school and my job. The society Vocaloid is a very famous artistic agency where we can be sure to be famous in a few weeks barely after signing its contract. The Vocaloid Gakuen is its particular academy where only the artists of Vocaloid can be enrolled. The classes help us to deepen our talents for the singing, dancing, and modeling, all the things linked to this job. We have only one day of school per week, the wednesday, but we have an illimited access to the classroom to be able to exercise as soon as we can. My job: I am an idol able to do everything. Some people are specializing in only one domain, but I, do all the possible artistic jobs: shootings of movies, of advertisements, concerts, photo sessions, a really busy life!

I know several artists in Vocaloid like Kaito and Luka, my favorite partners. They are like me, they are doing all the possible jobs too. I love working with them, Luka is like a big sister to me; and well Kaito, I wouldn't know how to define our relation, it's a bit like the game of the cat chasing the mouse, of tentation. I have also a brother, Mikuo. My big brother isn't really working as an artist, but sometimes he participates at some of my contracts, especially for the photo sessions. We always had a strong relation him and I, so strong that my fans love to think that there's something between us. Ah, it's one of the inconvenients to be an artist; everyone imagines a love relationship between an artist and another one, they love to imagine a life to us, but if that can make them happy, we won't stop them.

Anyway, I like my life and my little routine, I would like that nothing could change that.
