Chapter 1 Nightly Thoughts

Hayes pov.

So I'm currently laying on my cousins floor at 2 am in north east Ohio cuddling my pillow when I hear a Bing. Its my cousins phone. I didn't want to wake up Becca and I knew her password was her basketball number twice so I unlocked her phone. I opened up and saw she had a kik message. 

One of her best friends kikked her but it was her best friend it was one of that girls friends that was staying with her. I saw that they needed Becca so I woke up Becca and gave her the phone but I saw the message. "Tessa is crying for Hayes in her sleep."

I felt my cheeks heat up as I read that my crush was crying for me. But why me.  I'm always being compared to Nash.  I don't understand how anybody Could like me I'm not worth it.

So Becca handed me the phone and said "do what u do best  Hayes" so I did I kikked the kik saying I'll handle it and I did. I told her everything will be okay and that it was only a nightmare and it won't happen in real life.

After she calmed down I talked her to sleep and let her sleep while I laid on the floor and stared at the ceiling just thinking "wow she's so perfect." And with that I drifted to sleep.
