-Sin's P.O.V-

-Sin-

I opened my eyes slowly, welcomed by darkness. I sat up and looked around, my eyes adjusting, "Prince?" I asked. "Hm?" He grunted, "You're awake?” I heard him move some, “Sin, you need to eat. Hang on." I heard him get up and walk to the entrance of the tent. He walked out, the tent flap let the moonlight illuminate inside for a moment. I didn't recognize it as my tent.

It was Prince's tent?

When he came back I asked, "Why am I in your tent?" "The healer's tent is full from our recent scuffle, I'm sorry, Sin," He said. I sighed, "It is fine." He pressed a bowl into my hands, "Here is something to eat. You need to begin to regain your strength – we are moving camp in two days." I nodded and examined the contents of the bowl. It is stew, not that great, but not disgusting. I took my time eating the stew and could feel Prince’s eyes watching me. I shook nervously, I hate being watched closely. Once I finished, I stood slowly, "Do the men know we are moving?" He shook his head. "Want me to tell them?" I asked. "I think it is best you go to your own tent now, and relax a while longer," He murmured slowly, looking at me oddly.

"Okay?" I said, dragging out the last syllable. I began to leave when he grabbed my waist and pulled me back towards him. "Prince?-" I started to ask. He pressed his mouth onto mine, holding me to his chest and burying a hand in my hair. I froze, stunned as his mouth moved against mine. I gained my bearings and pushed him away, hard. He fell back onto the ground. "What did you do that for?" I raised my voice at him. I was shocked at how his mouth felt. I touched the tips of my fingers to my lower lip, brushing over it repeatedly.

He stood and stuttered, "S-sorry. Forget I did anyth-thing." I shook my head and cornered him, "Explain yourself, Princeton." "No, Sin. I am sorry I violated you that way. I will never do it ever again," He said, pushing past me. I grabbed his wrist instinctively and he breathed in sharply, and he met my eyes with a hard, unattached stare, "That's not very wise, Sin." I released him immediately and he practically ran out of the tent.

What is wrong with him? I wondered and made my way to my tent. I overheard Prince talking to Thorn, one of his closer friends. I paused to listen, knowing it was wrong, but wanting to know his reasons. "I lost control of my feelings and kissed her, Thorn. She pushed me away and demanded to know what I was doing." I heard Thorn say, "You lost control? Princeton, you rarely lose control, you have a good head on your shoulders." I heard Prince sigh and pace anxiously.

I peeked around the corner of the tent and watched them. Thorn kept going, "Do you want me to talk to her for you?" "No, I'm going to talk to her myself or leave her alone, she does not seem interested in me," He said sadly. Thorn saw me and he cleared his throat. I gasped and Prince's gaze rested on me, "Sin..." I faded into the shadows quickly and I heard them come after me.

I stood still, hoping they'd run by me, not seeing me. No such luck, though. Prince came around the corner first, and stopped slightly to my left and Thorn ran into Prince, then stopped a bit to my right. They successfully cornered me against a tent without even realizing it. Thorn said, "Sin, just listen to him a minute okay?" I stepped back, bumping into the tent, my eyes flitting between the two of them. "Sin, I care about you – a lot. If you don't return my feelings then I will never mention them again."

They both stared at me intently as I thought. "I – I – " "If you need some time, he'll give you until next week," Thorn interjected. I nodded bleakly and Prince's face fell as he realized I was going to be stressed about this, and we would act differently to each other from now on.

Thorn nodded, "Okay, so once we get settled in a new area, you will answer him?" "Yes," I whispered, shaking slightly, refusing to look at Prince. "Well... If that's all, I'm going to go to my tent now," Thorn said, backing away slowly at first before turning and disappearing around the corner. Prince stayed back and asked, "Are you cold?" I shook my head, staring at my bare feet. "Sin, do you want to ask me anything?" He asked softly, stepping a bit closer to me. "What are we looking for, Prince? Or what are we doing? Do we just roam around looking for a fight?" I asked, meeting his eyes for a moment, before looking away at the ground where a stake was piercing the ground, keeping a tent up.

He put his finger under my chin, lifted my face so I was forced to look at him again. "You're not ready yet." He said after a long look at me. My bangs fell into my eyes as I asked, "Not ready? … For what?" He looked at me seriously, brushing my bangs back to see me better, "To know. If I were to tell you now, you would not take it well, to say the least." I sighed, "Princeton, you expect me to return your feelings, yet you cannot tell me one simple thing?"

I turned and walked away, hearing him reply, "I do not expect that of you." I waited. "I simply wish you could understand how I feel, and tell me you feel the same way." I heard his footsteps come closer, then felt his presence behind me. "Kiss me again," I whispered, shutting my eyes tightly. "What?" He asked, disbelief in his voice. "Kiss me again," I repeated, turning to face him and opening my eyes to meet his, "I need to confirm something." He hesitated before taking my hand in his, looking at me quizzically, trying to figure out what I was thinking. He leaned down slowly- I grew impatient and stood on my toes, meeting him halfway.

He was surprised at first, and then he wrapped his free arm around my waist. Our mouths moved together as his hand ran up and down the small of my back leisurely. I felt a tingling sensation in my stomach and along my back as his hand caused me to shiver. I abruptly pulled my mouth from his. "Hm?" He murmured into my hair, still holding me close. "I've confirmed it," I said. "What did you confirm?" he asked, trying to look me in the eyes as his breath quickened slightly.

I let my bangs fall in my eyes, so he couldn't see them, and tilted my head back a bit so I could see those lips that had just moments ago been pressed on mine. He waited patiently. "I won't tell you," I decided as I said so. "Sin," He grumbled and pressed his face to my neck. I stepped away from him. He let me slide from his hold reluctantly. Once I broke our connection, the tingling died down immensely. "Goodnight, Prince," I said, and walked in the direction of my tent.
