Sad Little Girl

Staring at the mirror in a daze

God please say it's just a phase

Her Emotions are caught up in a blaze

She's a sad little girl trapped in a maze

----

Will she ever escape this rotten hell?

There are so many secrets left to tell

They say that she was misunderstood

Shouldn't it just be a knock on wood?

Her eyes are fixed on the white pill

Her bodies stuck in a permanent chill

But will the thoughts get better?

Will her blood get redder?

Will the note that she leaves just be a short letter?

Staring at the mirror in a daze

God please say it's just a phase

Her Emotions are caught up in a blaze

She's a sad little girl trapped in a maze

The night will surely consume her whole

The demons will tear down and rip her soul

She can't help thinking she's an ugly troll

But she desperately wants to fit the mold

----

The bottle in her hand is three quarters gone

She lays down and cries like a fragile fawn

Her fear is what the darkness feeds on

How come it feels right but its somehow wrong?

The noose is secured and the chair was kicked

Into suicide her mind was surely tricked

There's no chance that it will ever get better

Her blood never had a chance to get redder

All she left on the table was a short letter

Hanging from a rope in a daze

Oh God it wasn't just a phase

Her emotions are dead, she killed the blaze

She was just a sad little girl trapped in a maze
