Elemental Warriors- Chapter one

CHAPTER ONE-When we're just kids

(FLASHBACK)

It's a sunny Saturday morning and I'm still asleep when somebody shouted. "Eri! C'mon, wake up! Let's go and play!" Mitsuhiko shouted. Oh, it's morning already. I thought as I stretch my arms and feet. "Mitsuhiko, it's too early you know and she haven't had breakfast yet." said Shiki. "Ohayo (means Morning) Mitsuhiko, Shiki." I said with a smile.

I'm here at my room; woken up by these two boys: Mitsuhiko and Shiki .

"Neh (means Hey), Go straight downtairs and have some breakfast.We'll wait for you in the living room. 'Kay?"Said Mitsuhiko. "Uhm, hai (means Yes)." I said.

Then they went downstairs to the living room, waiting for me to get ready. I arranged my bed, took a shower, got myself dressed and went down to the dining area.

"Ohayo gozaimasu(means Good morning), Eri.Take a seat and have your breakfast. They've been waiting for you."Mother said to me, smiling."Thanks mom.They might pull me out straight outside.I said while giggling."Well, it's natural that they'd pull you out.You always play with them during weekends." She said.

That's right because I always play with them during weekends or whenever we don't have school.

"Okay then, I'm off to work. Your dad is already at the office, waiting for me." She said. "Take care mom." I said.

After I have finished my breakfast, I ran to the living room to get them. "C'mon guys! Let's go."I said excitedly."It's about time you got finished."Said Shiki. Alrighty then, let's go." We went outside of my house and asked them: "What are we going to do today?" "Let's see. Oh, I have a new ball that my dad just bought for me. We can play with it if you two want." Said Mitsuhiko. "Okay then. I'll race you there!" Shiki shouted. "Ehhh! It's not fair Shiki!" I said.

We finally reached Mitsuhiko's house and man, Shiki is really unfair. He started the race without giving us a notice and that's what made him the first place.

"You're..... fast .... Shiki." Said Mitsuhiko while catching his breath. "I'll go get the ball. You two wait at the backyard." "Okay!" I said.

After Mitsuhiko got the ball, he threw it at us then he started to laugh because we were surprised. Then I whispered to Shiki that we will get back on him.

"Shiki go get Mitsuhiko!" I shouted to him. "Hai!" He replied. "Wait, what?!" Said Mitsuhiko. "Hurry Shiki!" I said smiling.

After a whole day of playing together, we stopped and take a rest because it's already sunset. Then Mitsuhiko's older brother, Len, gave us some cookies and juice box for snacks.

"Thanks, Nii-chan (means big sister/brother)" Said Mitsuhiko. "Just don't eat too much. You'll spoil your dinner. 'Kay?" Said Len. "OKAY!" we all replied. "Eri I have a question. Do you want to be my girlfriend when we grow up?" Asked Shiki. "Now, now Shiki. She will be MY girlfriend." Said Mitsuhiko, laughing.

I just blushed and couldn't speak for that moment. I got shy all of a sudden because of that question that Shiki asked me. But I still respond to them saying: "Uhmm guys, we're too young for that."

"Hey, it's getting late. We should head home, Eri. We might get scolded for this." Said Shiki. "Fine, fine." I said. "See ya Mitsuhiko. Thanks for today." I said. "See you two tomorrow." Mitsuhiko replied.

Shiki and I walked home together as we usually do. Shiki's house is a little farther from my house.

"See you tomorrow Shiki. Bye." I said, smiling. "'Kay then. Bye." Shiki replied.

I knocked on the door and went straight to the dining area to eat, of course. There's mom and dad already. They're home early tonight. They're usually late because of their work; you know our parents come home late because of their jobs. Oh, and there's Shitsuka, ( pronounce as Shitska) my older sister.

"Eri come here and have dinner with us." Said Shitsuka. "I will!" I said happily. "How are you today my dear?" asked Dad. "The usual. It's always been fun playing with them." I replied, smiling.

After dinner's done, I went to my bedroom, get changed and I jumped to my bed.

"Today is another great day, having fun with those two guys whom I really love." I said.

And I went to sleep.

AtShiki'shome...

"There you are Shiki. I thought you wouldn't go home this time coz' you want to spend with Eri more time." Said Shizu, laughing. "Not this time, nii-chan." Shiki replied then sighed. "I'm going to bed. Night nii-chan." "Okay." Shizu replied with an evil grin.
