Elemental Warriors- Chapter two

CHAPTER TWO- GROWING UP

"Eri! Come down, you're gonna be late and Ryuichi's waiting for you." Mother shouted. "I'll be right there. I'm almost done getting ready." I said.

Today's the first day of school, in high school that is. I can't believe that I woke up late. Gotta get things ready, my bag, my uniform and of course myself. After I got ready, I headed downstairs.

"Hurry now. Here's your breakfast and your lunch." Mother said. "Thanks mom. We'll get going now. Bye!" I said then I headed to the living room. "Ryuichi, sumi-masen (means I'm sorry). I've kept you waiting." I said. "No big deal. Well, Let's get going." Ryuichi said then smiles.

By the way, I'm Eri Houtaro, a 16 year old girl. I have a black short hair, blue eyes, 5'6 in height and I'm the top 1 student last year. I hope I will be the top 1 student this year too, hehe. And this girl with me is Ryuichi Suzuki, she has a very long brown hair that she always tied it up neatly, has brown eyes and she's also 5'6 in height. She's always been my classmate since middle school and my best friend in class.

"Eri, isn't that Shiki?" Asked Ryuichi. "Yeah, it is him and he's with Mitsuhiko too." I replied. "SHIKI! MITSUHIKO! OVER HERE!" Ryuichi shouted. "You don't have to shout Hikari." Said Shiki then sighed. "C'mon Shiki, don't be like that." Said Mitsuhiko, smiling.

The boy whose smiling is Mitsuhiko Sato. He has black eyes, his hair is a little spiky because he sometimes put wax on and he always have a big smile on his face. And the boy who just sighed is Shiki Tanaka. He has blue eyes, just like mine, his hair is a little messy but he looks good though. These two are my two childhood best friends! And they're a year older than me.

"Neh, Eri. Let's go, we're gonna be late on our first day!" Said Hikari. "Okay then. See you two boys later." I said while smiling. "See ya" They said.

And we head off to the gym, where we will be attending the orientation. Of course, the Director of the school and the Principal will be giving a LONG speech. Again. Then Hikari whispered to me.

"Eri, what would you think about this school year?" She asked. "The usual, I think." I replied. "You think? I guess it will be B-O-R-I-N-G again this year." She said. "Now, now Hikari. Maybe there will be new this year. Something unexpected?" I said. "I wish!" She said.

After that LONG speech, we headed to our classrooms, where we'll meet our other classmates and new teachers. When we settled in, a teacher walked in.

"Good morning class. I'm Ms. Abe Yoshiteru your homeroom teacher for this school year. Nice meeting you all." She said.

Our teacher is....... VERY BEAUTIFUL. She has a long brown hair, a little curly on the bottom, tall, black eyes and her skin is white and looks smooth.

"Nice meeting you too, sensei.( means teacher, coach etc.)" We replied.

After her introduction, we, one by one, introduced ourselves. Then we continued with our lessons, more like the teacher discussed her lesson plan for the whole year. And Hikari's right, it is a kind of boring during class.

"Okay class, that's all for today. See you next meeting."

 I stared at the window and sighed because in every first day of school we always do the same route and there's no special thing about it. Ever since I got in highschool my life changed. It's not like the same life I used to have when I was a kid. Maybe things are meant to be changed afterall.
