Little changes at the end of the chap

~~

"James?"

As soon as his name leaves my mouth his head snaps my way, his expression shocked.

"Hmm?" he replies.

"Promise me something. You won't leave the house or drive when your pissed off," this time I look into his eyes. Pleading him to make the promise with me.

After a few seconds instead of nodding his head he speaks up.

"Only if you open up to me, Ayla. Clearly whatever it is you're hiding isn't doing you any good," he says.

"Opening up won't do me any good either, Mr. Richard. Tell me why I should tell you and only you something not even my parents know about.

You know what, I'll tell you something. Every time I trusted someone, loved someone all I've gotten in return is disappointment. I've learned not to expect anything from anyone, and to just live for myself and my parents. So why should you be another disappointment in my list?"

His face holds different kinds of emotions. Ones I can't point out. I shake my head and sigh into my hands. Suddenly my hands are being taken away from my face, and he holds onto to them tight. I look up at him confused.

"Not everyone's the same," he starts, but before he could say something else I say something.

"Yes, they're. Everyone I've dealt with are,"

"Maybe they are, but I'm not. I genuinely care for you, Ayla. If you open up and let me in, you won't be disappointed. Love is not that bad, it's really a beautiful thing once you accept it," he squeezes my hand as he finishes off saying his little speech.

I snatch my hands away from him and stand up. I pace around the room back and forth, it's happening all over again. He doesn't understand, he needs to know I'm not the same person I was a few years ago. Hell I am not the same person I was a few months ago, I've learned to deal with this world.

With him saying all this stuff he's shattering my walls, the walls I built up for everyone. It doesn't help that just being around him the old me starts to come out.

"Ah fuck," I turn around to see him hissing in pain. My eyes land on his arm, and there's blood all over it.

"What the fuck. Oh god who told you to sit up? Lay back," I lay him on the headboard so he's in a sitting position and grab the first aid box. I change his bandage on his arm and look up at him.

"Let go," he whispers while tucking a few strands of hair behind my ear.

I lean my forehead against his and close my eyes.

"Give me some time," I whisper back. "I'll tell you everything," I place my hand on his cheek caressing it.

"Will you do this until I fall asleep?" He asks me.

I nod my head, and run my hands through his hair. After a couple of minutes of just looking at me he finally starts to dose off. After he's finally asleep, I get up and lay down on the small sofa the room had.

I'll tell him everything, but I'll make him promise me he will stay away from me after that. I do need someone to let it all out to, and he's the perfect one. I'll tell him everything and leave. Just as if I talked to a wall, or wrote in a diary.

"Alright Mr. Richard you're good to go," the doctor says to Mr. Richard as I slowly open my eyes. I look at my phone to see its 10am.

"Morning,"
