Chapter 2

Riley's POV
I woke up to see my family (Grandparents, and parents) singing "Happy Birthday" with a giant stack of pancakes. "Thank you guys so much! I love all of you!" I said kissing them all of them on the cheek. After I ate the pancakes, I grabbed the last selfie Ethan ever took. "Happy Birthday Ethan! I love you so much. I need you here. You were right about Jackson he cheated on me. I miss you so much Eth. We will meet again one day don't worry." I said kissing the picture multiple times. "Happy Birthday Riles!I miss you too Riley! Seeing you in so much pain breaks me but I know the family will always be there for you. Especially me. You still have Will and Tahani. By the way sis, I know you like Sean. Just saying from now we were besties on the internet. Next time you see Tahani please tell her I will always love her and that she is doing great on the show. Have fun in LA Ri! There's gonna be a lot of things going on down there. Just stay calm when it all happens. I have to go Riley. I love you and have a great day" he said. I went to the washroom and got ready for the day. When I was showering I just thought about what Ethan meant by lots of surprises. Guess I will find out soon.  I turned the shower off and got ready.

Once I was done getting dressed I got a FaceTime request from one of my friends named, Tahani. She was on SYTYCD The Next Generation currently. I picked up right away and put down the volume. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" She said while making kissing noises. "Thanks T! I miss you a lot" I said. "I know how you feel babe" she said. "So um Tahani do you know Sean Lew?" I asked. "Of course I know him, we dance together in Immabeast." She responded. "I was broadcasting yesterday and said he was hot and he watched my broadcast. He even said I'm hot too ." I said. "Gurl! U and Sean would be so cute together." She said. "I know right." "So how are you holding up Tahani?" "Well, I miss him a lot and I should have been the one to get hit." She said as she started crying." "Tahani don't say that, he loves you very much and will always care about you." I said. "Your twin telepathy with him is still connected?!" "Yeh. We talked this morning. It was so special to me. He still loves you Tahani. He doesn't regret saving your life." I said. One of the choreographers on the show walked into the Tahani was in and told her it was time for rehearsal. So we said bye to each. I will see her anyways soon. After talking to Tahani I went onto my social media and had notifications from people saying "Happy Birthday Riley!" I posted a picture from 7 years ago.

The caption I put was "Happy 14th Birthday to Ethan and I! Thank you all for the birthday wishes." After I posted it I started to get tons of comments and likes. I went started scrolling on my home page and I saw that Will posted a picture of the three of us (Ethan, Will and Riley). "You are such a great bestie! ❤️" I commented. A lot of people posted birthday pictures for Ethan and I. Once I was done on the home page, I went on the popular page. The first thing I saw when I got on it, was the musical.ly I did with my mom. I can't believe it. My mom told me that my cousins were going to be here soon, so I got my room cleaned up.

After I was done cleaning, I grabbed my phone and went downstairs to greet my family (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents). We hung out with each other until my mom called us for dinner. Right before we had dinner we lit up some candles and took out a picture of Ethan on the table. "Riley would you like to say some words?" My dad asked. "Yes" I said with a shaky voice. "Ethan, where do I even begin. I'm gonna start off by saying I love you. You are and will always be my one of my best friends. You are really such a great person. Even though your physical body is with celebrating tonight, I know your spirit is I can feel it. I will eventually be there with you Ethan but for now I love you and have a great 14th birthday" I said while kissing the picture. After we ate dinner we went to my backyard and had a bonfire which was fun. I got to hangout with my younger cousins and make s'mores with them, which was a lot of fun. They loved it. My parents called everyone inside. "Time for presents!" My mom yelled/squealed. Everyone gave me gift cards, money or clothes. It was finally my mom and dad's turn to give me a gift. The first gift was a shirt that said "Better in LA". We don't live there but whatever. The second was an IPhond 6S. "Than you so much! I love you! I promise I will be responsible. The reason I'm so excited is because my last phone was the iPhone 5. The third gift was a two in one. The first thing I pulled out was a booklet of this very pretty house and the second gift was a plane ticket. I started to cry. My parents hugged me. "Are moving here?I asked pointing to the house on the booklet. "Yea. We are sweetheart" my dad said kissing my forehead. I started jumping up and down. "Calm down. There's one more gift." My aunt said. "This last one is from Will. "He said to open it up slowly. My dad got his phone ready. When I opened it there were two tickets. One of them was a ticket to FREAKING Buildabeast!!! "AHHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOSH!" I yelled. I started to cry. "There's one more ticket." My mom said. "So this ticket we knew about it for about a month but we decided to wait until your birthday. When I opened it was a ticket that said I was going on stage with THE Justin Bieber and dancing to his song "Children". When I read the ticket instead of the ticket saying Seattle, it said Los Angeles! "Does that mean I get to dance with Will on stage?!" "Yes. It does." Everyone said. "3,2,1" my dad said as he covered his ears. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! OMG I can't believe it. Thank you guys for all the gifts. Knowing that we are moving just brings us closer to you guys. So maybe we get to see each other more often." I said saying the last part towards my cousins. Everyone had to leave because it was a 7 hour drive to get here. My family is really loving and caring. "Thank you mom and dad. And thank you Ethan for being there for me when I needed you." I said hugging both of my parents. "Just out of curiosity, how did you change my Purpose Tour audition thing?" I asked. "Don't worry about it sweetheart." My dad said. "We are leaving for LA next week, so start packing up some of your things." My mom said. "Okay mommy!" I responded. I ran upstairs to my room and FaceTimed Will, he picked up right away. "YOU GOT ME A TICKET TO BUILDABEAST! YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD WILL!" I said making kissing noises. "I know how bad you wanted to go, so I saved up and got you a ticket." He said. "Thank you so much Will! You are like a brother to me. If I make it that means we get to dance together!" I said excitedly. "I'm gonna head to bed, Ri. I'll see you soon babe!" He said. "Okay. Goodnight Will!" I was so tired so I got my pjs on and went to bed.
