CHAPTER 3 ~ The Meeting

*Hyun Ji's POV*

I went to the first coffee shop listed but unfortunately, the job was taken. Then I went to the second but they do not allow students for the job.

"Ugh, eotteoke? (what should I do?)" :(

I went on the third shop and they said I couldn't work part-time. I sighed. I only have one shop on the list. "Don't lose hope! You can get this! Fighting!" I said to myself as I walk towards the shop.

I stopped and looked at the coffee shop. "Whalien Coffee Shop... it sounds weird. Haha I wonder what does whalien mean. " I talked to myself as I pushed the door.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Lee Hyun Ji, it says on the internet that you were looking for a part-time worker?" I asked.

"Yes, we are, how old are you?" the manager looked at me with big eyes.

"Ahhmmm, I'm eighteen years old sir." I said nervously.

"So you're still a high school student?" He said.

"Yes, but I'm willing to the job! I can clean the dishes well, I can serve coffees well and I can also clean the shop well!" I said looking hopeless.

"Please? Can I have the job please?"

"Okay, you can start working tomorrow night. Is it okay?" He asked

"Yes, sir!" I said full of enthusiasm.

I went of the shop and jumped for joy. I looked like a pabo (fool). Hahahaha

"Okay, let me call Min Shi..." I said while I dial her number on my phone.

Ring... ring... ring...

"Ya! Min Shi! Neo eodiya? (where are you)"

"Aiiiissh, Hyun Ji-ah, I think I'm going to be late, my mom told me to look after my donsaeng (little brother) for a while. I'm sorry, can we meet at hmmm... 4pm? Is it okay?" She asked.

I pouted. "Okay, I'll just wait for you here. Ya! I found a summer job!" I said smiling.

"Wow! Good for you!" She exclaimed while her brother was nagging her sister on the phone.

"Ya, I'll hang up! Bye! I'll see you later! Take care!" Min Shi said.

"Ohh! Bye!"

I sighed. "What should I do?" I walked around Myeondong and decided to window shop.

*Taehyung's POV *

I looked out on the window and decided to listen to music along the way.

"Kim Taehyung-shi, wake up, where here." The driver said.

I opened my eyes and yawned. "Okay thank you! I think I'll take the bus on my way home."

"Are you sure sir?" The driver asked.

"Yes."

I went to Whalien and saw Rapmon hyung on his phone with Jungkook and Jimin being loud while playing together.
